I'm def. gonna check out Milanote. This is my first time hearing about it. Planning in a visual way is a dream come true. Thanks for sharing this Mitch!
With years wandering on filming and shooting sets, I can objectively confirm the process you've been running through along this video as just perfect. I would just add a little thing, as a notice to inexperienced and/or beginners : stay in and stick to your task, (unless someone specificaly asks you) never walk onto someone else's grass, do your job and your job only. A set, whether flocked with 60 technicians or just a double-mind team, HAS to be an orchestra. With everyone behind their desk, never interfering with the next one. I perfectly remember a (young) director leaving his set, to check if "By any chance [I] would have some extra left-overs of make-up from a previous filming... you know.". I had to run and grab him so to get him back where he belonged : the set. Aside from this little (but crucial) detail, your stuff makes all the sense there is and must be watched an re-watched by anyone pretending to, some day, get somehow serious is this business. Well done !
Mich, I really love your work! Introducing Millanote, a great video should be filling out a project from scratch. Your organizational skills are very clean and concise. I just installed Millanote through your recommendation, and I'm pretty lost.
I'm not sure people realise how much rich advice is here in this single video, and you get it for free. Weow!
Thanks Eddy! 🤍
Photo Pills (sp?) can also do the sun during the time of day plus much much more!

This was super helpful. Although I think I missed how you find models vs what to say when you do reach out.
