Settings -> General -> Airplay & Handoff -> disable “Handoff” ... hopes this helps everyone who’s device doesn’t show the option to toggle “upload photos to my stream” or whatever

@@shayythompson4329 I just got an answer !! if you turn off sync, you'd be free to delete the photos from the device that dosent have sync turned on :)

Hey thanks for this video but i have another question, I bought a new iphone and i want to sing in my iCloud but I don’t want to transfer photos on the new one. What should i do?
If I turn off the iCloud photos setting how would I back it up under wifi. I’m not really a fan of connecting the phone to the computer. I just recently tried to clear up my iCloud because it was practically full and kept getting that message to upgrade so I followed a video and I think I lost some of my pictures and videos. When it said to delete the back up. My last back up was in March. So I don’t know if those pictures and videos are in the cloud. So I just upgraded my cloud storage. Until I can figure out how to clear my cloud to a hard drive then erase my cloud. But I need to stop sharing my stuff with my kids devices
I’m confused so if I turn on “upload to my photo stream will that stop the pictures from going to another device help me lolll

My iPhone keeps sharing my photos (and apps that I download) with my 7yo. I have gone through and disabled the iCloud share tab. It was great for 2 days and then it started sharing my photos again. I looked in my settings and the tab was turned back on again. How do I fix this?
If my photos are optimised will my ones be deleted cuz it says that all my optimised photos will be removed if I do this

Why do i not have this option
Hey there, I want to upload an save my pictures on iCloud but without being shared with my other devices. Unfortunately, my photos are currently stored in iCloud, but at the same time they are spread and synchronized on all my other devices. How can I turn the sync off but still continue saving my photos in iCloud? Thanks for your help:)

On your MacBook - settings system preference -> internet accounts -> untick photos on the iCloud tab

Hi, I have turned off “upload to my phone stream” on both devices. But photos from my phone are still appearing on my iPad and taking up space.
I need my photos saved to my iCloud so I do not want this turned off.
How else can I stop the photos from my phone appearing on my iPad?
Apps I download on my phone also appear on the iPad too and I do not want this happening either.
They both use the same Apple ID.

Yes it is possible. In one device u need to turn of iCloud photos sync.

I am using 3 devices. Iphone6s, iphone xs & iPhone13pro. I dnt want my personal data of iPhone13pro to get synced in other 2 device. Simply turn of sync for photos in iCloud in iPhone13pro. (But this has alot of limitation, it will download all the photos orelse iCloud will delete all the photos)

My mother is using an ipad under my account and I don’t want my photos visible on that ipad. But I still want the photos on both to back up to iCloud
@@AMYforHIMNo solution yet. I stop backing up photos on iCloud and downgraded to 50Gb. But I had began to use google photos (full resolution photos backup) on a 2Tb google one account. Ipad and iphone use the same account. Ipad is one "family member" and the Ipad is another. This is working very fine.

no, all you are doing is eliminating the streaming of your photos from and to other devices.

If you disable the photo sharing option then he should not see your photos.

Here is the solution that works for me:
Settings (on your old iPhone which is you do not want to sinc photos) >Apple ID> iCloud> Photos> select Download and Keep Originals > turn off iCloud Photos > Remove from iPhone.

I’ve done all this but all my photos from my phone just came onto my iPad after I backed up my phone and now I can’t stop them from going onto my iPad when I take a photo on my phone
I believe you also have to turn off the settings on the iPad to eliminate cross sharing on both devices.
