Having a match making system would be really good to help learn pvp elements. I'm shit at SoT PvP, but I used to be very good at Halo and Destiny PvP. The difference I feel is that other games have a less intimidating way to engage that aspect of the game. There's less of a panic when you're losing in an FPS match but in SoT youre concerned youre gonna lose HOURS of your grind. Having a low commitment pvp mode would be excellent for the game.
@@silixontwitch it is but isn’t (the problem is 1 person can’t do everything and your just at such a disadvantage in any PvP and u will lose bc solo a lot with not much u could have done and it’s a frustrating way to lose hrs of work), honestly solo only servers may be a better fix then a new ship, ppl have had ideas of a smaller stealthy ship that’s swift like a super rowboat with a droppable sail. I’m honestly more for a new stealth ship, I saw a good concept for one a few weeks ago by a another TH-camr (captain falcor). Partly bc solo vs solo sloop is boring as hell so nobody would fight plus it’s fun to hide ur ship and go sneak of a another to take them out without getting into much ship/naval combat.
Good points! A skill based mathmaking system does already exist for hourglass, but too little people are playing hourglass for it to work. Basically if it can't find another player who is on your level, it will put you up against a random ship, to make the queue time faster.
We need the option to save outfits to a costume slot or something. I have my Daily Pirate outfit and i have a Tucking Outfit and a mkre Fancy outfit. Or even if you wanted to save outfits that you have full sets of to quickly change into instead of having to remove and swap each individual piece of clothing
I would love to see and update where they add the possibility of having your own city and pirate civilization, that would add progression and the other players would not be affected.
@@silixontwitchyeah totally that would be nice. I wish they added world events every season, I can’t imagine it would be extremely difficult but I don’t know much about that stuff
Yea skill based match making where the streak increases chance of fighting people of a higher streak. But would have to put more rep into streaks. Gives players the chance to pvp without a streak. It's so silly how a group of 4 good players will get into an hour glass fight and get sweated on. PVP is only fun for everyone when it's a challenge for both sides.
Decent points! As a long time player, 8-10 ships is unfeasible. It would definitely cause way too many issues, like hit-reg, server performance (the servers are barely coping with 5-6 atm!) and even the Xbox One playerbase just could not handle it, they would need to do a lot of server maintenance and upgrades and sunsetting Xbox One platform before we can even start thinking about it, but it's nice to dream!
@silixontwitch if you loss farm enough you will start to encounter only new players loading in i dropped a bunch and then went on a 17 streak and me and my duo are a little above average at best in pvp
The game is skill based adding more cannons or harpoons would make the game harder for the ppl that are new and skill matched lobbies wouldn’t work for the ppl that are OGs and still playing compared to new players I think arena but way smaller would be great like 4 ships of ur choice so there’s every type of ship fighting

Only thing I want is to have safer seas without getting only 30%. I'm done grinding 2+ hours on my solo sloop only for a galleon with 4 guys to intercept me halfway and ruin my fun. This community can be very toxic.
Getting attacked when you have loot on board is just a normal game mechanic and not at all toxicity, it's called sea of thieves for a reason. I mostly play solo, and with good awareness you should never get caught off guard by a galleon, and have plenty of time to react and sail against the wind.
That’s literally the game not toxic. It’s called Sea of THIEVES. If you don’t like that part of the game then you don’t like the game or try getting better 😂😂😂
Nah. No 10 ships per server please. I do everything to avoid other players in this game. It's difficult enough. I'm just trying to progress, minding my own business and some 5 years player who has already unlocked everything attacks me not even for treasure but just for fun, just to prevent me from doing whatever task I'm trying to accomplish at that moment is not fun. I just want to go on with whatever mission I'm on without being attacked by anyone. That's how I like to play.
I think safer seas should be only 50% nerfed, it's impossible to do any world event without facing a complete addicted guy that will kill u just for fun

I really like the boots on the ground pvp feature
It would be awesome
Also would be good for new players to practices hand to hand combat

Around 2:30 what your talking about is already in the game. It’s the brigsy note that appears on your mast. Just no one uses it
I mean something a bit more than that as in maybe another world event with higher tier loot but yes there’s something similar in the game already haha

Naval only HG would be a disaster. You can't sink a decent crew without boarding. It is not possible if they know what they are doing.
Maybe only boarding with direct jumping from boat to boat, retract the ladders.
Hour glass dose have skill based matchmaking

Ditch the Xbone and move on!
might be a hot take but I would LOVE for them to add a new world event with a new main boss, like maybe similar to fotd but better?
