Do you have to do the journals then the tall tale all on one sitting? I did all. The journal to unlock the tale but I turned it off the came back and I had to start over?
You can cheese the gold curse a bit. Get a friend, do a tall tale, and make your friend leave your crew when you have the last checkpoint. They will keep that checkpoint. So you can complete the tall tale and invite them back, then they activate their checkpoint and leave again before you complete to not lose the checkpoint. Then you'll only have to do the end of the tall tale instead of doing the whole thing again.

Ik I'm being super nit-picky here but the golden bones are not considered a separate curse from the Skeleton curse. They are a cosmetic just like the ashen bones.

I lost so much, began to think ill never get it until the game is on its death bed and the closest ill ever get to the curse is when im dead on the ferry. Then gold and glory happened and I went from 68 to 99 in a few hours. (I did it between a few days) and then when it ended I justn eeded a few wins and I FINALLY got it. After dodging spoilers and going at it for months I finally got it. The ritual was so worth dodging spoilers. It was my first curse too which only made it more special. I broke down when I shook hands with the pirate lord and finally became a ghost. I thought I would never get it.

I told him I understood that he was not a noob, but he insisted on the fact he was. Then, we went to do a ritual as the burning blade, and he pulls out the golden skelly. Then, the golden ghost. So, how rare is it that someone has both?
btw you don't have to complete the tall tales before cursed rogue to get the order of souls curse, all i did was complete the commendations for cursed rogue to get it

ALRIGHT SO: The hat is the hunters Hat, the eye patch is intrepid explorer, the jacket is the mysterious stranger jacket (which is unlocked by getting level 160 in guardians fortune) , the gloves are the hunters gloves, the pants are the ruffian sea dog and the boots are the executive admiral boots.

I surely cant play open crew. Bro lvl 1000 isnt even that hard u just need a crew and u need to not give up. Luckily i did not met a cheater before so i still have patience
@@Linkiscool99 The thing is i got really good at the game by playing hourglass. Like i used to be awful now i’m really good. I actually recommend playing hourglass if you wanna get good at pvp also watching videos on yt on what to do

@@smokinsantos2624 well that depends on many factors. Factors such as, how often do you play a day? how often do you win? Do you drop streaks of go for high ones (keeping in mind that rep increases after 4 streak), Do you sell flags? It took me 2 months but that's because i didn't play the game a lot, realistically you could get it in a week to a month if you really put the effort and had a duo who you work well with to drag in wins. On gold and glory or community day where the xp is x2 you could get it in a day of a few days even a week. But there are many factors, Big one is how often you play and win

The Curse of Sunken Sorrow was the first one I did. From starting with 0 progress it took about 8 hours for anyone who’s wondering about it.

The lightning curse is 499, but in a pack that cost 999 total. You can get just the curse though.
