Most cars for the last 10yrs that have Bluetooth can play both music and make phone calls.....why do these Bavarian bastards only allowed phone calls over Bluetooth and not goddam music??? Makes mi ass sweat!!
If you look in the boot and remove the floor mat, as you look to the left and right above what should be a spare wheel cavity, you should now see one of two things.. A) silver, rectangular box/es located in a metal frame. I am reasonably sure the one to the right, is a 'bluetooth control module' which 'when wired' to the cars head unit + mic. If they are welded over, then chances are good it was possibly optional. Sorry it's so verbose.
I would to know how to reprodu ce music in streaming, I got an BMW 318i model 2012 and I set up the bluetooth with my Iphone, but the system only allow me to make air answer call and a freehand , but I can not hear music throuh my iPhone. I can do it just if I use an auxiliar cord
I have a 2009 318i and I have bmw professional unit and have he shark fin as well and for some reason when I press the phone on the radio section and/or steering wheel nothing comes up I can’t get the search bit for some reason someone please help and tell me why can’t I connect my phone to blue tooth
Hi Quick question mate. Can you play music using this bluetooth connection, or just make and receive calls? I have a 320d with the same head unit and connect my phone to a tiny USB powered bluetooth audio receiver that then plugs in to the aux port so I can play music wirelessly. I wonder if I can use both connections simultaneously, meaning i can play music via the receiver, but a call would override that and connect to stereo... hmm.. will.check that
There's videos on the internet that say they will show you how to play music but they don't tell you a single word there's no videos telling you how to make the music work from my phone
It's really frustrating because I got the phone to sync within 2 minutes but now I've been sitting in the car for about an hour and I still can't get it to play music
Please help brother please I got one of my own albums from like 10 years ago that a fan sent to me I lost all my own music in a divorce and I just got one of my albums back I want to listen to it so fucking bad in my car please help

I held the phone icon on BMW as shown in video to pair my handset and it didn't work... So my mobile phone doesn't pick up the pair.... From BMW. Infact I am using an av cable which seems easier... Please confirm what maybe the issue for pairing on my vehicle and device..

I think bluetooth only works for phone calls. Need to get separate Bluetooth to audio in headphone device.

The Bluetooth is strictly for telephone use.there is an aux adapter right in the center console for you’re phone 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

Your car doesn't have BT. Not all professional head units have it set up. Even though you car might have steering wheel buttons for BT.
