Hi thanks for the video. I have bmw 116 I 2013 model. I am trying to connect my iPhone to my car. Bluetooth is connected to my mobile but I can’t play audio in it. Neither it is not showing audio option on my car. What might be the problem ?
@@jaimejesus9611 I think its because the owner who purchased the car didn’t buy the Bluetooth audio option, there a connection you can find on Amazon that you connect a lil box to the aux and usb and it gives you Bluetooth that’s what I did not that bad tbh small not even noticeable box only like 25
I’ve just bought the same car and realized I don’t have it either I was fuming lol but I’m gonna try use an aux with a iPhone adapter and see if it works 😂

It’s likely that you don’t have the feature of that is the case, Bluetooth audio wasn’t standard until later than you might think. I believe it was around 2016 model year

Bluetooth audio hasn’t always been standard, despite the phone capabilities. You can check your window sticker if you have it or have a service center run your VIN to be sure you should truly have it equipped. Most times that is the misunderstanding. Regarding the 1-10 buttons, press and hold 1 & 10 at the same time for several seconds until the vehicle prompts you to reset the buttons. Be sure permissions were granted by the phone when pairing. If you don’t know how to get to the setting on your phone, maybe try to unpair the phone and then pair it again and be sure to allow permissions the next time around
If you have NBT iDrive you can just makeup your own if it doesn’t generate one for you. Just be sure you enter the same code on the car and phone. Some earlier generations had preset passcodes that were in the owner’s manual or on a sticker of the comm box (location varies based on model/year)
