Super late but just watched this as I’m replaying all these, but he washes via a sponge, as small amounts (tiny puddles or cups of water) don’t harm him so he’s able to hydrate somewhat and stay mostly clean

He can touch water, he just cannot be absolutely submerged, a shower is doable but a Bath is not. Otherwise he'd hurt himself stepping in every puddle or bit of ankle deep water.
Also play the pure evil way and also the ACTUAL final choice is in whether or not to destroy the Ray Sphere, if you use it again it hardlocks you into a Villain even if you were a Hero because you are KNOWINGLY condemning several innocent people to gain more power (Your Lightning is also Black and Red) and choosing to destroy it means you are automatically made a Hero even if a villain because you turned down greater power for the sake of innocent lives.
I did not know it made you an auto hero! I never find it worth doing the good choice on an evil campaign, because I cared about power. While I was split as a hero because I thought they just be a sacrifice for the greater good. Just to be auto infa right after the choice.
The only way you can make this better is by doing a long analysis and review of inFAMOUS 2.

in the second instalment ,Infamous 2 the choices did end up making a difference since we got second son after the majority of people chose the good ending where he died 😔
What I always hated about the devs stating that we'd still have Cole if the "Infamous" ending was the more popular pick is that it's not the Cole that most of us have come to care for. It was more like if whether we'd end up with a dead Cole or the Cole most people wouldn't like (he ends up being a bit of a d**k for the most part of the game)
@Ventus Gate there was but it was only for those who pre ordered the game or something, can't remember. You can see TH-cam videos on it, you get his jacket after completing the mission
Ventus Gate Definitley want to see a TRUE Infamous 3. But they did give a small Easter Egg in Second Son. It’s some tv/electronics store named after Cole.
They also fixed the bleh color palette in 2
*BUT* inFamous Second Son was super good.
InFamous, from a gameplay standpoint has aged VERY well. The auto lock on system for climbing is still remarkably impressive and responsive.
Infamous is in my top 3 superhero games of all time, and honestly had one of the best plot-twists in gaming.
The only negative thing about Infamous, for me, is that is has no new game plus feature. I would have really liked to have been able to replay it with all of my powers/karma without having to start over from scratch.
Other than that, it was a fantastic game, and the second one was even better. I really hope they get a remaster one day.

Theu ruined it with infamous second son, in every aspect except visual graphics the game is bad compared to it's predecessor. If they do a remake or bring back cole it has a chance. But second son did not even compare to the first 2

Kaden-Ω Bone I played second son first. I fell in love with that one so I played the first 2. I like the vibes of the first 2 but I like the idea and gameplay of second son more mostly because of being able to use more powers.
Aron T-900 I totally agree with that. It wouldn’t have been that much of a deal but the story is so short which leaves you with nothing to do after finishing the game.
there's hope for InFamous 4 but not too sure about prototype 3 tho since radical entertainment(the game company) was shut down

The Canucklehead That’s impossible. You can only get red AND black lightning after activating the second ray sphere...in the second to last level in the game. Having maxed out evil karma won’t get you the black lightning without that mission.

Awesome coverage, loved this game! This (along with Prototype, which I hope you do a 10 years vid as well) came out just before I went off University to do a degree in computer games designing (talk about perfect timing).
I replayed this game thanks to this video and I'm still very pleased. I'm flabbergasted as to where the decade has gone. Thank you

Same here, but where do you take the series after Second Son?
I know that they've got that girl with the Paper powers out there and both endings show that Delsin intends to set the Conduits from their special prison (for different reasons mind you, depending on Delsin's mental state by the end) free, likely with his superpowered companions but where do they take the stage from there? The best guess I can make is that the Conduits (either the Paper girl or some of the ones from the prison) that have awakened powers will start causing havoc or form gangs or somebody's manipulating some Conduits behind the scenes, something along those lines.
If they do end up making another Infamous game then I hope that they make it more interesting than previous entries(this is probably a long shot but one thing I would like to see is the ability to switch control to different characters (I mean come on, Delsin pretty much has made his own superpowered team by the end of I:SS) heck, you can probably even add Co-op to the game if it's implemented correctly) cause as much as I loved playing I:SS it felt like a more improved and colorful version of Infamous 1, one thing that they should improve (or at the very least not change) is the Fps.
@@elianrodriguez7318 well in second son we did have that tease for a sequel with the dlc ending in another country with a phone conversation. plus there are still secrets and the ramifications the world faces with all the conduits. I think a seuqle would take place in another nation where crime and war with conduits has torn everything apart and have delsin to be the one going around trying to stop all the suffering while some factions exist which the player has to choose from. the conduit faction who are like the beast and just want to destroy society or the other conduit faction who want to live alongside people. I think a story where delsin has a superpowered rival with a proffesor x/mangeto relationship would be awesome to see. maybe the first sons didnt all perish and instead went to other nations to continue their experiments or they became even more like a cult and are trying to bring back the beast or recreate it to destroy hummanity. theres allot of places the story can go but yeah i would love co op

If you shock a chain-link fence a few times, you can absorb the electricity back. The regular shock doesn't cost any energy either. I can't remember if you can do it with puddles as well? But a lot of metal objects do this too.
Tbh my favorite parts of the game had to be the Kessler fight, or the small piece of dialogue if you blow up a gas station early on in the game, I think it's like this,
"Holy crap man! There was a huge explosion!"
"Yeah I blew up the gas station."
"Come on man! Just because you can't drive doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't!"
This of course sealed the deal as one of my favorite games ever. Also, I kinda want to believe that Trish dying either way was supposed to carry the meaning that in the grand scheme of Kessler's plan, player choice would not matter, for Cole's fate was to kill The Beast. Unless you preferred orange-ish lightning, then you chose to get what SHOULD have been the canonical ending, but we got Second Son. Anyways this was a great video, and I believe this franchise deserves to have more acknowledgement.

I beasted both INFAMOUS games, got 100% on both, all blast shards collected, all powers on Botha karmas collected, I felt like a boss back in the day
pretty much agreed with you. I think you and I were pretty much on the same boat when we played this. I always wanted a game that made its own super hero and its own story, and what I got was something that surpassed my expectations, and gave me a great twist that blew me away with how well it wraps the whole thing up. I love infamous 2 as well and me and my dad got it day one, but I have some personal issues with it to where its my least favorite of the trilogy. Second Son took me forever to get to, I ended up having to play it over two years after release, and despite the underwhelming at best story, it is one of the most fun superhero sandboxes to play in my opinion. Love to hear your thoughts on the trilogy.

I miss infamous and infamous 2 loved both games
You know, one thing I learned early on is that you can quote-unquote "reabsorb" your electrical shocks. For instance, you can use your Lightning Bolt (which doesn't require energy) on something like a dead body or destroyed car. Just rapidly fire your Lightning Bolt at it, then quickly charge before the electricity dissipates.

Infamous 2 is still my favorite game of all time. Spider man 2018, god of war 2018, and the last of us come close. But nothing beats the fucking empowerment you felt as a fully upgraded cole in 2

Kevin Montiel the only downside in twos powers is the sky lightning no longer goes as long as you had electric energy but they did a good way of having the unlimited power in both. With 1 having the generator mission above ground were you can just have the lightning chains go forever and 2 we had the attack on ice fort tower with the storming weather make it so he can call down unlimited lightning strikes from the sky without taking an ionic charge pure power fantasy man

I’m sure that the infamous comic series clarified how cole handles water. From what I remember, Cole can handle smaller amounts of water, enough to drink and shower. This is why the puzzles only buzz / slightly conduct when cole touches them in the games he’s in, whereas larger amounts of water kill him when he’s submerged.

I can't even put into words how much I love/d infamous 1 and 2 I played both of them countless times. All your complaints are valid but there's just something about the two that really resonated with me.
Infamous 2 was better in my opinion, so many memories with that one. Could you do a video on that one too?
I read the intergal comic mini-series and it was really good. Not only did it tie up all the loose ends from the first game but it showed Cole dealing with all the awful things Kessler did to him along with the harsh truths about his place in the world. Great read, check it out.
