Thank you - I will look to share more on the blog soon as ideas become more fully formed - I'm enjoying it and that is the main thing.

Thank you Mark - I use head magnifiers for work in N gauge, but I managed ok on this without!

Wasn’t to far off the mark with the comment on the shorts vid Reminds me of my own vicarage crossing diorama looking forward to seeing the progress really enjoy these cameos just like a snap shot of life.

Thank you Rob - yes, a snap shot - in this instance I am craving a little more space than the usual shelf cameo, so we will see how it pans out.

That is some top notch work there, and I look forward to seeing it on what you have in store for your Irish project. Where can one find the material you used for the signal post?
I would guess the finial would likely be based on the Cheshire Lines Committee pattern, since they have that ring around the body of the casting with a prominent spire.
If you'll forgive my unsolicited criticism, signals like these would not have both arms operated on one lever, despite being on the same post and sharing a lamp, the clue being the cables running down either side of the post with the other lever being obscured by the wall and crossing. If the resident signal engineer was money conscious enough to save a lamp, if a signal was wanted to operate in both directions then a single arm suitably painted would have been used a la LNER "bothways" signals, rather than two arms on one lever that need repeated cleaning and oiling which would be more expensive.
It's a good piece of work, nonetheless, and I look forward to seeing it return on the diorama.

Thank you - the link for the signal kits is in the description, but for your ease here it is again www.studio-scale-models.com
