Hey guys the music audio has been adjusted due to a few problems I had with my mic this video, I heard the song at the usual pitch and will fix the problem before the next reaction
One of the cool things with Jinjer is that when you watch this, they were all already doing their part fantastically well, yet when watching more recent things, each and every one of them has improved their craft even over that. All 4 of them keep progressing in the mastery of their craft and we're all blessed to be able to listen to the results of that effort.
I’ve never thought about getting a bass until I saw Eugene. I’ve heard a lot of prodigious bassists in a lot of bands but Eugene’s playing really resonates with me.
@@Roguenjosh Eugene is actually heavily influenced by Ryan Martinie from Mudvane. And he's definitely one of the best and most dedicated bassists I've seen.
Originally they had a second guitarist for that song, actually for that whole album. Check out "No hoard of Value" from that album. There is a nice lyric video! Or even older, a very nice song "Exposed as a Liar" from the album "Inhale, don`t Breathe", which seems is nowhere to be found anymore.
People are also mentioning Sit, Stay, Roll Over, it's THE Jinjer song IMO. It's been a staple in their sets for years, the video is super awesome too. You could do a side by side comparison lol.
I'm glad you're happy with the patch dude. Like I said, I'm chuffed that it's gone to a good home. As for this song, I don't like 'hair metal' but I love everything that Jinjer does. Have an awesome week.
I was gonna say this too, the drums on this album were written by Mantulin, he was an animal and I love his drumming on this album, but Vlad added a lot of flair to it here, those ghost notes he was doing here were insane. Also I would recommend giving the studio version (not the music video) a good listen when you have time, it was originally recorded with two guitarists which is especially noticeable during the solo.
Very cool, the drum work in this is out of this world! Even with the audio issues your take on the song was very enjoyable. There are a lot of Jinjer songs that sound (even) greater live but for me this one works best with the official recording, still a banger though. Try "Retrospection" official from last album, great song, beautiful melody, a very "eastern Europe" feel to it, some lyrics in Tatiana´s native language (russian), and a good official video. Keep up the good work.
Nearly done with Jinjer!? Ridiculous! 😂 fun reaction, as always. It’s pretty obvious that you know your stuff, in terms of music so that’s refreshing. I actually agree with you about this not being one of the best, and I’m glad it’s not just me cause a lot of people seem to really enjoy it. But, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you want one you’re REALLY gonna enjoy, check out their official video for On The Top 👌🏻
Roguenjosh yes! And, they released another video for Judgement (& Punishment) just yesterday, which is a one-take vocal track, to really show off how good Tati is 👌🏻😁
@@Roguenjosh I think the video is at a concert, but the music was not live because there was no way to actually record it live. She's got some crazy dreds in the Outlander video
I think you've also gotta hit On The Top. The video is cool, but of course their live stuff is always incredible. Captain Clock will BLOW your mind. The guitar riffs are so fast and technical they'll melt your face off. Dreadful Moments is another great one, they have a live performance of it. Gotta check em out!
Suggest to also check out the official video version. Vocals sound more raspy, which she usually changes to just clean vocals when live, and Tatiana is a bit drowned out in the mix here. + the song was originally written for two guitars, so it sounds fuller
Definitely agree re drummer technique, listing to my dad practice every night (pro jazz drummer for over 50 years) I became pretty picky. Notice that he doesn't flail his sticks? According to my father (other than the snobby jazz hold, not fist grab), this is the indication of a technically capable drummer. I used to think yes father, now I get it. :)
Did you speed the song up? It sounds kinda weird. I love that last transition from cleans to screaming vocals. I've heard it countless times and that part still gets me every time.
I've been waiting for you to do this one......But Man, it's off....I've watched this video probably a hundred times, it's like 10% too fast..IDK, maybe try again???
Mmm in my opinion the original is way better. They have another drummer when this song was released and the song with the original drummer is better. I love how Vlad plays his songs in their new music but in the original audio the drums get me

This is an older Jinjer song that was written when they had two guitars. It is a fan favorite so they keep it in their playlist
I’ll look for the original
Yeah I agree, Vlad is an incredible drummer. Really clean. He doesn’t “slur” his hits.
He’s so crisp!!
Nice reaction, I really can’t get enough of this band .
They’re so good!
Jinjer - Sit, stay, roll over
- Scissors
- Exposed as a Liar
- home back
- outlander (live)
- just another
Captain clock live 🤔
It’s good to have a list!!
i love that you listened to so many. i love spreading the word about jinjer
Jinjer are releasing the Melbourne show from March as a live album on 20/11/20
I’ve never thought about getting a bass until I saw Eugene. I’ve heard a lot of prodigious bassists in a lot of bands but Eugene’s playing really resonates with me.
If you aren’t a mudvayne fan you should definitely have a listen, very similar bass players!

Would be interesting to hear them with another guitar

Vlad has the best sounding snare I've ever heard. It's tuned so perfectly.
Amazing drummer
Fun Fact: this song was originally made 2-3 drummers ago, yet Vlad's version sounds the best
Na man, come on.

Yeah what was I thinking? There’s so much jinjer to go!
Roguenjosh yes! And, they released another video for Judgement (& Punishment) just yesterday, which is a one-take vocal track, to really show off how good Tati is 👌🏻😁
In the beginning Vlad sounds like a machine gun.
Excellent video Roguen...
You listen to the original? Vlad slowed down in some double kick parts
My first ever experience with Jinjer was the video for Outlander - You should do a reaction to that one as well :-)
Ok for outlander I’ll do the video not a live version
@@Roguenjosh I think the video is at a concert, but the music was not live because there was no way to actually record it live. She's got some crazy dreds in the Outlander video
Radeladian!!! I take it you missed their gig at Fowlers then. lol they were were awesome. :)
I hadn’t even heard of them when they were here!!

Jeeeeeesus christ! It's so weird listening to this faster than usual XD

Yeah I want to hear them with 2 guitarists
Oldie but goodie :)
Still holds up
Man, you should definitely do Outlander live next. You won't regret it.
yes, yes, and another yes!
I’ve had a few people say the official video is better?? Which performance do you think?
My favorite Jinjer song. I feel you should watch official video.
Yeah I’ll come back to it when I’ve heard everything else!
RoguenJosh...gotta check out Words of Wisdom live from Jiner. Of course you'd love it bro...it's Jinjer. Great vid, appreciate the content!
Thanks Daniel!!!! Is there a specific performance or will I find it when I look for it?
@@Roguenjosh th-cam.com/video/ew48eCy2fhU/w-d-xo.html
there you go bud
There is a new Tatyana single-take Judgement and Punishment video.
Watch the official vid to see/hear difference a different drummer and an extra guitarist makes. Also compare voice maturity.
Rad will do!
Or just the better audio quality. The live version is a good performance, but the audio is definitely not the best.
Cool intellectual reaction man 👍 Good wishes from Russia 😁✌
I would never call myself intellectual but I appreciate it! Спасибо!

Dads know best, that’s what I always tell my kids haha
Great reaction!!! check out an older song from them called Destroy (live BEASTIARIUM)
Thanks! Sounds good!!!
RETROSPECTION PLEAAAASE
YES!!
👍👍👍 glad you checked it out!
Check out the song "Silent Spear" by the Japanese band mildrage! I'd be interested in your opinion!
Silent spear is an awesome song name!
@@Roguenjosh It's an even better song, trust me!
Watch Tatiana closely at 0:54. Blink and you’ll miss it.
Hey I noticed one jinjer song your missing sit stay roll over
Did you speed the song up? It sounds kinda weird. I love that last transition from cleans to screaming vocals. I've heard it countless times and that part still gets me every time.
Right?! Glad it isn’t just me.
Hey yes I did my audio came out down-pitched so I had to correct it, only time I’ve had audio issues so far and I’ll fix it this week
@@Roguenjosh ok, I was hoping that's all it was and that you heard it at the correct speed instead of like this.
wait have you done outlander?
I haven’t! Still deciding on live or official
@@Roguenjosh oh good point the official is the one from a competition though.
💙💛🌻
Something is off about this. The audio sounds strange.
Yeah I couldn’t fix the audio issues, I also had to speed it up to fix the pitch, will be trouble shooting before the next video!
Glad it wasn't my phone, I knew something was off 😅
Roguenjosh Glad it wasn’t just me. Still enjoyed it regardless. 😊
Yup, took seconds to realise it was sped up.. sounds so weird!
@@jen.g. - This is how Jinjer would sound if they played in drop D. ;D
Cloud Factory official video worth a look too: th-cam.com/video/LgFvXLbJMSE/w-d-xo.html
I like how she flash the drummer
On the album her vocal sounds very Gaddy Lee-ish.
I've been waiting for you to do this one......But Man, it's off....I've watched this video probably a hundred times, it's like 10% too fast..IDK, maybe try again???
I saw your explanation. No reply needed. But maybe redo when you get it diagnosed.
Nah I can’t redo a reaction haha, the audio I was listening to was right though. I might do the official video at some point
Jinjer finds their unique sound only with ep micro. Before that their music had a lot of influences from different genres and bands
Dude official version is way better. Always listen to the official version before the live version.
Mmm in my opinion the original is way better. They have another drummer when this song was released and the song with the original drummer is better. I love how Vlad plays his songs in their new music but in the original audio the drums get me
Yeah a few people have said that!
should went video. live sux!
Lol
Not seeing it myself. Just like anything I might see or hear on the Kerrang channel and that is not necessarily a good thing.
