About 2/3 of their songs are about environmental, social, or political stuff. A really powerful example is No Hoard Of Value which is a really well made lyrics video, while the song is about the plight of coal miners in the mining and industrial region of Ukraine they grew up in.
Dude - you know what's hysterical about this video that nobody ever comments on, is that Tati flashes Vlad at the beginning of the song!!! You can see her turn around and walk back towards him right about 45 seconds (your time stamp), then the camera switches to a side view, and she's standing right in front of Vlad and pulls her shirt up and down real quick at about 50 seconds in, then she wiggles her ass, and finally turns back toward the crowd and is still chuckling as she start to bend and head bang. Vlad has a funny grin on his face. It goes by really fast, but it cracks me up!! Ah, the things Vlad gets to see!! Actually, I've noticed she turns back to him on other videos for some comic relief as well. This band must be a hoot to work in! And Tati is such a big goof at heart! Gotta love Jinjer!!
Another good reaction - I'm enjoying this. The official video version is quite old and sounds a bit different but the visual imagery is very strong. The track is from an album first released in 2014 then later re-released (in 2018 I think). So it was written with an extra guitarist in mind - interesting how the modern lineup manages the track. Roman has such a beautiful tone in this. He's a (very quiet and modest) star.
It has more to do with the tuning than with his guitar tone, which is the same. I don't know why but for some reason D and C tunings have a particular ring to them that's very pleasing to the human ear. : )

@@Tobyc1315 I'm curious how this one sounds 'better'. I realize you may like it more for whatever reason, but if you break it down, it doesn't sound as good as the studio version (vocals, drums, guitar). Also, Vlad changes the double bass tempo for some reason, which I don't agree with.
Noooooooooooo do the Official video first, you always do the Official video first. Wtf everybody knows that. Otherwise you don't know if the live version is good or not. I get it Jinjer is great live, official version is always better for first listen.
