- Skiddaw is one of the hills over 3000ft in the lake district and only it and Helvelyn have bridleways that reach their summits, this route, Skiddaw summit via Jenkin Hill from Keswick.
Maybe not the most exciting descents but for the less experienced rider who wants to do a big decent its a good option just make sure you have checked you brake pads :-).

I think Skiddaw is on our 2020 List Rich - We'll need a good eBike route though as Mel will be powered...Looks Awesome mate...
Just seen this, a trip up Skiddaw is a must, this is not really the best decent but its worth it for the views. The Ullock Pike decent is amazing but quite technical and the first section is very steep and lose, I would say its the one to do.
Nice Vid 😎 I've did down Carls Side and along Ullock Pike in the past, it's one of the best!! Like watching your last vid, it's strange that the hills are empty down there, hard to get your head round especially when you know how busy they usually are.
Should of just done Ullock but was trying to be good, let hope things get back to normal soon.

Way better close to perfect, was thinking that when I was pedaling along the top, you'll have to come do it again but this time in good condition and we will do the Ullock ridge it's such a good decent.

Mediocre and pointless and no knarlyness? REALLY? The bit that you didn’t show in your video was the hardest descent by far, there is no way that you rode that bit without carrying/ walking your bike down, it is far too steep. The bits that you filmed were by far the easiest bits.
You have obviously never been on Jenkin Hill, maybe you are confusing this vid with the Carlside /Ullock Decent.
Were there is a steep slab that's unridable unless your very good with big balls 😀.
