why mine is not scrolling and the scrool is not moving bc i accidentally drop it so it broken?
No. The rubber surface is a ring around the wide diameter of the mouse wheel. This ring has no good friction after some year of usage. So I put a stripe of 4mm width around the big diameter and put the rubber ring over it, so that the paper is between rubber ring and big diameter 😎 and now mouse wheel doesn’t slip anymore 😎
🇩🇪 Wenn das Gummirad durchrutscht, dann liegt das daran, das es keine Reibung mehr auf seinen Träger hat. Deswegen habe ich einen schmalen (4mm breiten) Streifen Küchenzellulose (Küchenrolle?) einmal um den Träger gewickelt und mit etwas Geschick den Gummi“reifen“ auf diese Zellulose-bewerte Achse aufgezogen und nun rutscht das Mausrad nicht mehr. Zellulose deshalb, weil saugfähig. Der Gummi“reifen“ „fettet“ nämlich etwas (eine Art Schwitzen, weil er lipophil ist 😎
Das Gummi, das die Schraube verdeckt habe ich drangelsssen und mit einem ziemlich kleinen Schraubendreher einfach durchstoßen 😎

Hey. I might be answering this too late but here's the thing. There are some clips thats fit into two ports at both the sides in the the front portion of the mouse. We have to slide those clips back into their places. Its a bit tricky but can be done.
