I remember getting hooked on cummins trucks never been a dodge fan BUT you can't argue with a cummins its the same motor in my big rig. I love these videos where you actually build stuff with your own hands to what you need or want.👌

I've got a 89 cummins in my 79 gmc crew cab dually. Love building power with a ve pump. Eventually compounds will be in order 😁
I can assure you there is only penalty for back pressure against the turbo. You absolutley want as free flowing an exhaust as possible, it aids spoolup and airflow which helps lower egt's and increase fuel mileage.

I have a 1973 dodge D-100 adventure I just love these old dodges. Mine has the 318. Original kind of wish it had a diesel. Maybe when the engine blows. Love the videos.
Todays diesel engines are too expensive to maintain unless money is no object. Those 12 valve cummings are a blessing !!

On a turbo charged engine the turbo itself is the back pressure. Has nothing to do with exhaust hence why most diesel drag trucks run hood stacks

Thats a good looking truck you got I've always wanted to do the exact same thing but i just aint never got to it but Dodge is my favorite truck ive owned a few over the years i loved my 88 SWB Power Ram 4x4 with built 360 it would get up and go i beat GT mustang through quarter mile even smoked a 77 Trans Am from 40 mph punch they ask me later if it had the 426 hemi in it ha,ha but it had long tube headers also with small cam plus motor was brand new dodge dealership put new one in it at 48,000 miles it had 55,000 when i bought it from my uncle he got it new keep up good work yall do some fantastic work .

Its a place i couldnt believe it when we went out there years ago to play a show we had in some club i dont remember the name of it we were all messed up on coke an smoking some weed before our little concert to calm our nerves ha,ha we were all so nervous untill we started but if you get chance to go do it you will not regret it .

It it auto , because my 93 dodge diesel dully is 5 speed and i can go from 2nd to 4th and cheech out the whole road and it not turned up at all
Kinda expected cleaner fab work but it was a one day.
You do NOT want any back pressure on any engine especially a turbocharged engine.

Steve I've got a question for you. Ive got a school bus I converted into a camper RV. I'm going to have it parked for at least the next 6 months,I live up North in the cold climate. Can you recommend if necessary at all, an additive to add to the diesel fuel for storage? I'll say right here I consider it advice and no way would I say " Steve said" and it didn't work..lol This is my first diesel vehicle. Thanks 👍
Stabil brand diesel additive. I added that to my diesel before I stored it for 2 years. Fired right up when I started it 2 years later…

What turbo is it? I thought you said HX30, but is it an HX 35 with a 60 or 63mm housing, AND what 4" lift kit did you use? any body lift? Thanks
