In Sg only the sale of chewing gum is strictly prohibited / ban. However, u can bring in chewing gum for personal consumption and dispose properly by wrapping the chewed gum and thrown into a rubbish / liter bins which are present in all public places.
You still able to consume gum in Singapore. You are not allow to trade and sell gum in Singapore. Most Singaporean purchase gum from Malaysia and consume in Singapore
@@mrtienphysics666 as we have mentioned, it is not legal to sell or import gums for sale here. and it is illegal to vandalise public property or litter so why would anyone stick gum on the MRT? we’re trained from a young age to keep public places clean
Citizens interest first.. is the mantra of the PAP..removal of chew gums to prevent jamming of MRT doors, getting gums on your clothes and shoes, gums spoiling the beautifully paved roads and walkways, etc. Time and money wasted just to employ workers remove gums is a no brainer. Yucky to have someone's gum saliva on your clothes and shoes. Visit Singapore in November and December for cooler weather.
@@mrtienphysics666why ban cigarettes when you can put a 30%tax on it's sale to increase your coffers? Cigarettes smoking is not my problem ..Your health is your business. It is a public concern when your gums stick to my shoes or jam up my public transport.

I'm happy with the ban of gum, whether or not it helps to keep Sg clean or cleanest. No issue at all.

I do not see Singaporean chew gum.
@@mrtienphysics666are you living under a rock? I know so many Singaporeans consuming gum brought in from Malaysia even back in school.
they might not be openly chewing gum in public but it’s definitely not illegal to consume it here
why is it legal when it "can jam MRT''?

@@JenHope118 what about cigarette butt's?
@@mrtienphysics666 cigarette butts don't jam the lift and train doors, moreover these are no smoking areas amenities.

Because it makes country dirty and hard to clean up😊

He should be drafted
Your oversight is a problem, to the police and hospital and to the state funds if you are a subsidised patient.
its very dangerous too bec sg drivers dont anticipate jay walkers, and often cant stop in time
Actually he was a little slow, you can hear the green man beeping sound. So it turned red before he reached the other side

A lot of people may not aware, pornagraphy is banned in Singapore too.

Spore PAP. Pay & pay😮
I don't think the hotel consulted the govt when they decided on the entrance fee.🙄
Is the Hotel owned by the Government and gets to dictate how much each person is charged ??
MBS is owned by Las Vegas Sands (USA)... why are you blaming the Singapore PAP?
