- OK, here is the video edited correctly. I was in a rush last time and didn't realize that I didn't finish adjusting the other segments. But now it is all right. I don't think I will try to improve these runs anymore, because I am pretty satisfied with these times and routes. If you want a tutorial with any of these new strats, just let me know! I won't be doing a new video on the last four stages (The special suits) because I didn't change the routes for those stages at all. Enjoy the video!

That stage is one of the hardest stages to get a good time on for me, and it's only because of the breakable stones. It really throws off my rythm. And thanks!

It takes a lot of attempts to get a really good run. But you only need one good run. Keep going for it and see how low you can get your time!

@@Banxed It takes a lot of practice. You'll eventually get the rythm down. I recommend doing crazy overcompensating movements to make sure you're still constantly climbing.

The rolling run is insane! I keep falling off or slow down like crazy at the turns.
Yeah it's tough and takes a while to get used to, and I still have trouble controlling it at times.

@@KaylaFunHouse Practice makes perfect! Once you do it enough, you start becoming more comfortable with the timing of the jumps and what to look for in each section.
In mountain run you skipped like 99% of the level lol
Haha and yet there is still a faster route than this one. You can see it in my Extreme Tutorial for this stage. You can get a double boost in mid air.

Once people actually get more ps5s, I hope PlayStation releases a new Astro game once every 2 years. It’s not likely going to happen but I’d love to see more of these games. I’ve had a blast with this one.
Same they are amazing! Asobi is currently working on a game right now but whether it is a new Astro game or something else we don't know. We can only hope!

Which run do you enjoy the most? Which do you think is the most annoying/tedious? Which was the hardest to get a good time on?
My favorite would probably be the Mountain Run. It has so many routes and optimizations to constantly improve your time. The most annoying/tedious, by far the climbing run. To get a good run on that one, you need a little bit of luck to get passed the breakable stones, and I really don't like anything that feels luck induced. And the hardest one, is the rolling run. With that stage, one slight missed turn can completely throw that run off, plus staying at top speed the entire time is risky and challenging in itself.

They are definitely tricky! I just recently decided to come back and try them again since a lot of new strats have came out and I'm currently tied for 2nd on hopping run.

You dont have to do the Speedrun stages to get the platinum. They are in a separate category. I also have tutorials for all of these stages and Extreme tutorials on my channel if you would like to know how I completed each stage.

Actually it does because it technically doesn't have any game breaking glitches.

The stage is not intended to be played this way, but it is a flaw created by the developers. By the way, speedrun.com has already verified these strategies as glitchless.

How do you jump without stopping in the frog suit?
You can release your jump just before you hit the ground. My recommendation is to choose either the left or right trigger and use only that during the entire stage. You'll also want to immediately start charging your next jump as soon as you release the trigger while your in mid air.

I'm upto 7th on climbing run with 18.86 but the guy in first at 17.73 seems untouchable!
He had a flawless run through this stage. And his speed is nothing short of incredible.

It's definitely one of the more challenging stages for sure. Cutting corners and keeping straight lines shaves off WAY more time than you realize.
