- Are you ready for the ultimate solo bikepacking trip?
Join me on this adventure following the Eurovelo 12 cycling in the far north traversing winding paths and long flat stretches.
Find my version of the route on my Komoot:

The EuroVelo 12 is the North Sea Cycle Route. Although bordering the same sea it goes from land located below sea level (in the Netherlands) to cliffs of 300 meters in height (Norway). You can sample wee drams in Scotland; pedal along the well maintained cycle paths of Denmark; dance the night away in millennial port cities such as Gothenburg or Hamburg; or stretch out on the inviting beaches of the Netherlands.

Thank you! 😃
Haribo should sponsor you :))
Yes 😂 I am probably their best customer
The distances you cross with the bicycle are impressive! I'm jealous (not in a bad way ;-)). On a longer bicycle trip I feel so alive. But my knees are not so good.
thank you :)
Cheep!
:)
Hi , i saw your HARIBO energy taken eating by Pogacar in Tour de France 🇫🇷 👏👏👏
So cool! Even Pros love Haribo 😂 hope it makes me climb like him
Great trip makes me hop on a plane to ride Euro 12
Always enjoy your vdo full of great scenery, haribo and your lovely smile 😊
BTW what handlebars are you using ?
Stay safe
Greetings from Thailand 🇹🇭
Glad you enjoyed it, I am currently testing a prototype handle bar from Fara Bikes
I wanna go.
nice route, totally recommend it
i have to try Haribo as well especially it is from my home area around Bonn. never saw it as sport's nutrition 😂
yeah ,cheaper than gels ^^
Great.. come to India. We'll cycle together in this beautiful country..
thank you much
Let’s see how it goes…!
:)
I have noticed, you don't use the Tailfin Rack anymore. Can you elaborate? Is a simple saddle bag better? Thank you!
Great video as always
Thank you 🙏 depends how much you want to carry and how heavy, in this case I only brought light sleeping bag so saddle bag was good if I was to bring a tent and cooking gear will go for the Tailfin because the saddle bag starts moving around when is heavy loaded 👌hope is helpful
She is much sweeter than Haribo! ❤😘💐
thanks ^^
someone should count the number of "let's see" in the video
yes :) signature sentence
Very early teasing 😅
worth the wait :)
Great video. On thing though. "UCI" and "Gravel" don't belong in the same sentence.
thank you
Sheeps! 😆
Always 🐑
I am going to have to ask you to stop making videos, please! I don't have time to watch them all but I can't stop watching :D!
thank you so much :) happy you enjoy them
Nice trip. All the time flat. Was it cold? Because you had long leg and arm sleeves.
Yes it was! Thanks
I was wondering if you locked your bike when entering gas stations/bakery/supermarket for shopping...? If so, what kind of lock you carry with you for such long rides? Thanks!!
BBB and a few other brands sell small, 3-digit 'minisafe' locks. They are inexpensive and have a short cable. They suffice to lock your bike to a fence so it cannot be dragged away quickly. Bikepacking bikes have so many parts which can easily be removed, there is simply no way to guard them all. When going into a grocery store, it is wise to remove navigation devices and have money and telephone in a small grab purse. There is simply no guarding against people going through your bags but, in my experience, that's very unlikely. You have shown up unexpected and they have no way of knowing how soon you'll be back. It hasn't happened to me yet.
@@TribusMontibus Thank you!
Totally agree with TribusM, there’s no way to guard a bikepacking bike.
In my experience, shop owners/ shop staff understand that perfectly, if you ask if you can bring your bike inside their premises (provided they are roomy enough) more often than not, the answer is, Yes, of course.
@@cyclistefroisse9267 Thanks!!
I travelled a lot with advanced equipment on a premium bicycle.. Never locked with more than a lightweight cable when entering a shop for a quick errand.
Place your bike visible, behind obstacles or bring it to the corner of the shop.
Though you have to be observant, often you can sense how risky an area is.
Obscure persons hanging out etc. Often they'll leave immediately if I've caught eye contact with such personalities.
Ask a reliable looking person if they'll keep an eye on your bike..
Does anyone know as someone from the UK if you are traveling via bike around europe it says you can only spend 90 days at a time in the schengen area, but if you are on a bike and not crossing any border partol apart from crossing into France, how do they know where you go and how long you have stayed in the schengen area if you are on bike? Does anyone know if you can just stay for longer if you are bikepacking because how can anyone know where/ how long you travel to if you're on a bike.
It's the same by train or car, there aren't border checks typically. You'll just get checked when you leave the EU and if you overstay you might not be welcome back again 😊
I dont know to be honest
Your thumbnail pic looks so much like Moriah Wilson.
thanks :)
nice. what handlebars are you using here?
thank you :) Fara Cycling own handlebars
Nice Videos! Wondering if do you have any trick to fins hotels bike friendly? Regards from Belgium!
What is a bike unfriendly accommodation?
That part of Europe are up to date, and seldom have any issues with a bicycle..
Some places I was allowed bringing it to my room.
Bicycles like a shower every now and then, as well 🚿🥰
@@OmmerSyssel bike unfriendly would be one were bikes are not allowed into room, or at least they don't have a secured place to store it.
Thank you 🙏 yes normally look for hotels that have gardens and patios, they are more likely to let your bike in
@@SanDiegoSpiderman This is central Europe, would be surprise how inflexible is it!
You are thoroughly enjoying your riding! Great enthusiasm! Good luck for all your trips
I want to do something like that , on bike
you should :)
How many Haribo do you consume in a 100 km ride? For example for a 200 gram pack?
yeah, 1 big pack of haribo of 250g and 1 bar normally
Which camera did you use while cycling?
I used my iPhone, a GoPro and a Sony zv1
New Subscriber 🙋♂️.
How many kilometers do you ride per a day?
Thank you so much!! and welcome :) this one I think was around 120 km a day
I am sad. I had to wait almost 5 minutes for the first haribo break. 😞
Dont worry more Haribo breaks coming up in the next adventures :) racing TCR this year, so I plan to try the local Haribo's in every country
@@Buzzalong.cyclingyou invest more money in Haribo than most children! 😮
cute laugh
Thanks 🙏
YOu're cool and pretty. Keep grinding yo!
Thank you! Will do!
How fast do you bike on average?
In this trip avd speed was around 20-22 km/h but I had front wind the last two days
@@Buzzalong.cycling that’s a lot of hours on the bike in a day, much respect and keep going!
Do you still want to do Paris-Brest-Paris in august ?
Yes, cant wait, awesome event
@@Buzzalong.cycling Paris brest Paris is really a race to do!
I've just done my first 150km today, but on a fixed gear bike.
Your videos are inspiring, I hope to do this race in 4 years' time.
What handlebar you use in this video?
I am use Fara cycling own handle bar
💪🫶
🙌🏻
how do you pack so little!?
with more experience learnt what i actually use during the trips but depends of how long you go for and where
Ayo eksplor Indonesia
hey :)
which Garmin model do you use ?
I have the Garmin Solar, game changer, battery last super long
@@Buzzalong.cycling Solar 840 ? 1040? Like , how long ? (I see it's cloudy in this video, does it make a difference?) thx
so you missed the country that named the north sea in your north sea travel MKAY
:)
Why would someone that beautiful be doing anything Solo?
Thanks, it’s a fun experience
