:)
i love your work thank you so much , You earned every moment of joy , hope ur sun burn is better
Thank you so much!
Happy 18th birthday 😁
Thx for coming. Nara’s bambis are special and protected for religious reason. I’m happy because Japanese convenience stores and vending machines helped your cycling. Japanese cyclists love them, too. I recommend Hokkaido and Kyushu for next your trip.
Happy Birthday Sherry, looks like it was a wonderful adventure. Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you 🙌🏻
I’m glad glad that you visited and traveled across my country!
Beautiful landscapes!
Many thanks!
There's in this moment a football match between France and Nederlands, as in the "tour de France" when dutch cyclists fight with french cyclists . But i must say : the most beautiful cyclists are colombian : Is it because of the spirit of Ecuador or what ? In Europe we need enthusiasm of this part of the world : Sherry went to Japan to make happiest those Bambis and youtubers and followers and when you see her trip, wings grow on the back and riding the bike for long distance is easier even with Worn equipment. It is not flattery, it's more or less real and we learn english with those videos, don't need any more school : let's go to Sports Classes and of course with music and the smile of this Doe Woman. You just have to think about her and just her image in your head makes you win the race
Wow what a great adventure, loved the video.
Amazing trip guys. Japan looks awesome !

@@Buzzalong.cycling I thoroughly enjoyed it and Japan is a place i would like to visit for the culture, food & the scenery. It’s great knowing the opportunities for cycling over there too!
great adventure, beautiful sceneries! bikepacking in Japan now becomes one of my bucket list (if it not already)...
Thank you 🙌🏻
I was excited to see the video where you cycled on a route I know well.
You look like a combination of Ana de Armas and Scarlett Johansson. Thanks for all the positive vibes, I love your adventures. Always enjoy, take care and God bless! ❤
😊 thanks

Awesome laugh haha
Seven cycling tours in Japan I had one flat tyre. Loaded touring panniers , tent etc; Nice video.
Thanks :)
it's a great place to celebrate of birthday! happy birthday sherry! 😍
thank you :)
So nice , 34th birthday? Happy birthday 🥳
Close! Thank you :)
Wow!! Welcome to Japan!!
Basically, Japan is so safe even at night, and most Japanese food contains high carbs. This country should be best for you cyclists😆
I've ridden everywhere in the prefectures around Tokyo. I admire your ability to deal with the traffic and cold weather (this was April or so, right?) I hate traffic and especially the tunnels around Okutama. Fortunately, I can skip the traffic by loading my bike on the train and getting to the base of the mountains where there is far less traffic and the smaller roads are still well maintained. I love getting up in the mountains. Japan is beautiful.
thank you :) I went there in March, just took me some time to edit the video ^^
Verry nice
I'm your big fan God bless you
thank you :)
Thankyou for your rply
11:42 ... lol, you look funny with that band-aid over your upper lip :)
Beautiful lady, beautiful work with video and bike!

thank you :)
No wonder you had so many punctures, i had like 3 a day when having Gravelking with tubes on rear wheel. The front was tubeless with 0 issues.
Thanks for the video! Some of the cuts were way too short for us though
Thanks for the tips!
Feliz Aniversario
gracias :)
I rode a lot of those roads, and had no issues with flat tyres. I was using tubeless
i had tubes :( next time tubless
The only thing I'm going to change next trip is to wax my chain. Oil chain got dirtier as time went on
Que viaje tan cool y super el video! I'd love to embark myself on a bikepacking road trip like yours. How do you manage the bike bag for boarding trains after you're out of the train? Do you use a lightweight bag that you carry in a backpack the whole trip, or do you just purchase a new one when leaving the country/taking a new train?
Thank you for sharing!
I am also trying to plan a bike packing trip in Japan this fall, and looking at your komoot collection, I noticed that the stages are not publicly accessible? Is this in purpose?
If not, could you make them public so that we can see the route? Thanks!
🎉 hsppy birthday cherry .. its my birthday tomorrow ( 17th june ) .. and id guess you were 21 😂 again 😅😂 .. 🎉 looks like another fabulous Trip ❤
Ah, 21 again! If only we could turn back time like that. Thanks :)
Why do you have to put on bandages on your face? To protect for the cold?
Probably sunburn as well
yes from the sun, I had a crash and got scar in my face
Happy birthday 31
Can you please make the Alpenbrevet in Switzerland
You are superb ❤
Thank you so much 😀
Great video, you say if you come to Japan make sure you have enough gears on your bike. I see you’re using 1x which to me is a backward step. The more gears you have the better which means 2x,the leg wrecking big gaps between the the sprockets and increased chain deflection are a big minus to me
Totally :) Thanks for the tips!
10% bike 90% kain
I have to say, slightly underwhelmed about cycling in Japan. Very industrial views, busy roads, windy, cold and 7/11's....😏
7/11 in Japan is not what you think - nothing like North America.
I agree on all the scary main roads. Not for me thanks
This couple of cyclists is like Don Quichotte and Micomicona going to purchase the Japonese Giant in the Sierra Fuji Yama
30! The new 18 😊
🙌🏻
What kind of bag did you use on the Shinkansen ? Bought it in Japan or brought it from Europe ? We are plannig a similar trip in September/Oktober and having the Shinkansen option would be nice.
I used a rinco bag, you have to pack your bike on it to transport in the Shinkansen, I bought mine in Japan but they are quite expensive there and sometimes tricky to find, I have some at home I bought on amazon that are cheaper I just forgot to bring them, I leave a link below: amzn.to/3Rysp0R
Awesome views! Anyway we can view the route you take? I can't view it on komoot
Yes, the GPX (komoot collection) is in my blog in the link in the description
I'm curious to know what you had in your baggage for backpacking in Japan with this rather cold weather. It really makes me want to take a plane ticket to Japan.
Vincent from the north of France ( Risjel )
thanks Vincent, yeah it was very cold most of the day and when it rains it is heavy rain
남자분도 잘 생기셨네요^^ 버즈님은 이쁘구요^^ 버즈님은 웃는 모습과 웃는목소리도 매력적임요^^ 그리고 남자분 한번식 영상에 보여주세요^^
Thanks! do you have the GPX of your route?
Yes you can find the full route in the link below together with some practical info: www.buzzalong.cc/post/bikepacking-japan-2-200-km-cycling-adventure-from-hiroshima-to-tokyo
There seems to be a problem with the sound, the voice over is very quiet on the TV (doesnt sound as bad when watching on phone).
Hi Sherry.Good to see you again. I´m follow you biketours with big interrests.. Is it a Fara Gravel or a Fara All Road. Did you try a Fara Road?
thank you :) for this trip I had the Fara Gravel with 32mm tyres, did not know what to expect in Japan so more versatile
go visit mindy!
When I don't have a lot of energy I like to switch the bike computer from miles per hour to kilometers per hour. I'm still going the same speed, but the numbers are bigger and I can pretend I'm going faster.
Thanks for sharing
You started Hiroshima station and rode to east.
Why did you not take local train so to say 30min, then you could be at Miyajima, shrine on sea, view is fine.
From there you could start your tour.
At 0:51 the road has some longitudinal grooves.
I saw similar on Mindy's channel (South Korea).
Do they serve a purpose or is it sign of poor quality?
I think they are for the water flow when it rains, you have them everywhere in Japan, mostly on mountain roads, they are actually very slippery when going over them on a bike so I always slowed down when I encounter them
Please can I ask the name of your cycling jacket - the black one with the elastic banding at the back
It is the Gore shakedry rain jacket :)
Belated Happy Birthday, Sherry! My guess is you’re almost as old as your spitting image, Ana de Armas, but biologically speaking, you look younger than 20. May you keep riding more miles with that smile, which makes you younger, fitter, and happier, along with the never-ending cheap (sheep) and Haribo in your life! 😄🍰🎂
Do you or your cycling partner speak any japanese? How doable is it without any knowledge of japanese? Great pictures and videos thank you!
Google Translate is an awesome help in Japan. I don't speak any Japanese and was able to navigate fine last time I visited.
thank you, none of us spoke Japanese and in most places they did not speak english so we used google translate all the time
Tu Apidura es de 17L?
Did you have a tour car or is all your stuff in the bike bags?
I have all my stuff in my bags
@@Buzzalong.cycling That's impressive.
Are Japanese bambis not as wild as spanish's ones because they are next to Pacific Ocean ? or perhaps because they have met the famous Miss Cordona, the warrior and worker of the peace?
the bambis on the temple were the most friendly ones i ever encounter ^^
61さいだけどぼくもはしりたい。😊😊
8:31 brand from this nice green jacket pls :D
it is the Albion insulated jacket, i leave the link below : albion.avln.me/c/qwBnaMOUxqfp
