Waooo thats amazing! Transiberica is a fantastic event, I saw next year starts in the south of Spain so it might be really warm, I really advice carrying with you a filtering water bottle, super useful if you run out of water in remote areas, I used it a few times. Good luck for TIB 2023 :)

@@liewchengyeh very true....just build yourself up slowly....and rest properly after...if you can add an extra 20/30 miles on eveyr weekend ride your stamina will develop...you might go into the focus fluid state....little habits change....and dont beast yourself on hill rides to soon.....maybe just try the mileage on flatter first....with time a more robust internal strength will come....our minds and bodies can take so so much more than we think...

Did your leg and elbow were sore because the accident. When I crash on my bike I became sore of my leg and has trouble getting out of the bike because I had to stretch the leg. If you endure my complements because it don't pass on a day or two.

Did you have issues with motorized traffic during the event ? That's always a concern when cycling on main roads for so many kms.

Many thanks Stefano :) I did not have any issues in Spain while riding Transiberica, drivers in Spain were super respectful towards cyclist ( best country so far) and normally you have a lot of space on the side of the road (arcen) to ride on the main roads.

Thank you :) I think the highlights were definitely the amazing sunrises in the desert and on top of the mountains, lowest points were in the afternoon, I normally had my deep and felt like I could not pedal anymore. What I would do differently would be spending more time route planing and not loose as much time as I did having sit down meals at the hotel. ^^
