I tell you what, that was insanely beautifully explained. I was always confused why they are showing two pi bonds here But this video opened up my brain. Really loved this. Also Subscribed to your channel. Plzzz Keep making videos Sir .
Thank you so much! I have gone through at least 10+ other TH-cam videos and it wasn't till your video till I finally got it. Expanied so well. Thank you :)
You have to find the total number of valence electron of both atoms ,so you just need to add the valence electron of carbon+ hydrogen. A single carbon has 4 valence electron A single hydrogen has 1 valence electron In Ethene there is 2 carbon and 4hydrogen from the formula So multiply them by 2 And that is 2*4+1*4=12
Chemistry leeches each and every brain cell out of you 😂
Really 😂

@Shreyash Editxz In my country ...we study this in grade 11
India grade 11
Thanks for your support and genuine sharing of your knowledge teacher!
Indian students here also 💪🏼❤️

exam in 40 minutes
Clear explanation sir....The way you explained using different colours and hybridized and unhybridized orbitals overlapping is vivid.....
Thank you i saw a reel on Instagram about the different TH-camrs that can help with chemistry I am glad i subscribed ❤
I always confused why we call hybrid orbitals SP2, always remembered it with valency but now FINALLY understood the merging part. Ty so much!!!!
YOU HELPED ME ACE MY CHEMISTRY TEST
Amazing ! Thank you so much Sir
THANK YOU SM SIR YOURE SUCH A LIFE SAVIOUR
Nice explanation sir 😊
This explanation was just amazing ❤️
you should make more videos like that I loved the explanation thanks a lot
oh my god. THE RELIEF!!! finally I understood everything fully. I hope you go to heaven my friend. Thank you so much
Amazing video with splendid explanation! Tysm
Cleared my confusion. Thanks a lot 😄
This was helpful, much thanks. I clicked like to support your channel.
Amazingly explained sir . This video cleared all my doubts ❤️ please keep making such videos Student from INDIA 🇮🇳
i think this video singlehandedly saved my chemistry mark
And I'm back here again studying for the exam lol
You're absolutely amazing Sir! Thank you so so much!
Very well explained. Thank you
Well explained. Thank you.👌🏾
Very well explained sir 👍
YOU ARE SOO GOATED SIR
Hi do we need to write the pi bond on the top?
Thank you very much sir ❤️❤️💐
I am a student from sri lanka 🇱🇰 💛
So am I ❤🇱🇰
Did you say hydrogens do not hybridize?
yea, he did
Amazing
Thank you very much sir for yuor explanation
How to draw the orbital diagram of ketene?????
Nous avons 4 liaisons de C et aucune Doublet nonliant et donc pourquoi l'hybridation est sp2
Thank you sir. Beating chemistry, inshallah.
where would the bond angles be?
can anyone say which formula he used to get to knew about 12 e in starting ?
You have to find the total number of valence electron of both atoms ,so you just need to add the valence electron of carbon+ hydrogen.
A single carbon has 4 valence electron
A single hydrogen has 1 valence electron
In Ethene there is 2 carbon and 4hydrogen from the formula
So multiply them by 2
And that is 2*4+1*4=12
In hydrogen you just multiplied by 4
omg thank u for this you are a life saver.
Why did we make sp2 why not sp3
You MUST leave one “p” orbital UNhybridized to make the Pi bond (the second bond between the two C’s)
Got it thanks👍
Thanks sir
Well explained, thanks a lot!
Nicely explained
Thanks very much sir.
Well done.
SO HELPFUL
great explanation. thankyou!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
it was really helpful, thank you
Thank u
Love you bro thanks for helping ❤
Thank you🙂
Thank you so much
i love this
My doubt is cleared thank you
From which country you all are comment
Thanks!😊
عربية واستفاديت من الشرح لان مُدرستي ماموضحته بشكل كامل ~^~
Thanks a lot sir
In which grade the American students study these things???
In Canada I learned about Hybridization in Grade 12 but I never saw these diagrams until First Year of University
Humne to 11th me hi padh lia 💀
Thanks
Thankyou!
Wow
Only carbon not other elements expenses kindly
thankyou sir
Greaaaattttt !!!👍
Thank u sir
Thanks.
Hybrid orbital has a small lobe too right why don't you draw it. Isn't it much important
The small part is not important so my teacher not write it
I am from Palestine
@@k_popgroups5832 I hope u r fine rn:)
