Muzammil you’re doing a great service to the nation. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’re connecting overseas Pakistanis with the local startup scene and educating resident Pakistanis with top tech trends in the west and how to adapt to them. I work in Big Tech with past Startup experience (from UK & Ireland). I always think of giving back to Pakistan. Your podcasts help me understand the pain points and opportunities Pakistan at the moment. Please continue creating podcasts like this one. It was utterly brilliant. Thumbs up 👍

Being the engineer who loves to work on developer/operations side, Taimur made me think about going for product management and business side of technology. It was a great experience to get to know how partnerships work, how value is delivered through use of technology and how this side of technology operates. JazakAllah for the great work

Regards your question about middle man,
Big companies will never hire an employee directly who is 'offshore' or outside operations country for number of reasons.
    1) midle man or company is vetted and they are responsible if something goes wrong by their employee.
    2) middle man is also insured against each person they supply. In case their provided person damages company intentionaly or unintentionally.
    3) Apart from pay gap, contractors dont even have other benefits as perm onshore employees so company saves it.
    There must be many more.
    One suggestion please:
Can you also ask your guests like him about giving a path which beginers can follow.
For example for cloud, start with Azure and build upon knowledge of ABC and deploy open source projects etc. Its good he provided educative courses which are very helpful.

At 57:50 Muzammil's vision is great.
Big 💲💲projects are being done this way only. Work from west is being pushed towards to companies who get it done in India .
Thing which stops remote work is the security concerns of data breach and project secrets. But it was allowed in an emergency like covid . But the companies won't take it for long .
Remote will work for super experienced people. It won't help freshers as the employer doesn't have time and capital to find a candidate from thousands of applications. Thats the reason they hire from specific places so that they knew before hand about the mindset and environment of that person.

Totally agreed on the discussion about remote work and web 3.0 etc. But what's your point of view about hands on training for internees or fresh employees. When you join in as a starter into the organization, learning the culture, soft skills and also the technical stuff is hindered by remote work as everyone only wishes to do their chores and move on to spend their free time with families.

Remote Jobs are going to stay until covid stays.. Most countries are bringing data protection laws, tax laws, IP law's which will make it difficult for a company to prove why the job is remote as no country want to increase unemployment.. May be generic IT jobs might continue to be remote.. but with that brings competition as well, also may not be well paying jobs..

I don't think so as if they don't let employees then how can they sell there online? Suppose if google don't hire from X country to promote USA then how they'll be allowed to sell in X country? X country will also ban their service to promote their own service.

Old school marketing depended on newspaper and TV and the new age ones go to an individual level trying to sell everything and anything to the individuals whether they want it or not. It’s constant non stop and sometimes going to extreme perverted levels . At the end of the day they are all sales people. Educate yourself.

I would like to respond why just say 80 percent of students of IT are not getting employed is they are not willing to upgrade themselves they should realize we are learning this and what we will have to implement in professional life. This can be done by doing internships during those particular practical courses. If someone is reading a course in his/her first semester how will he/she know k wo course end of degree exists krega b k nahe. Secondly there are so many companies who are using them as kaam chalao paisa kamao and they are not working on employe professional growth and on another side many people do not even know how to make resume. I dont believe if people around someone is getting better jobs and you can not. Atleast they should put there 100% percent effort and then rely on Almighty.

Kya dikkat hai bhai...why so much arrogance ? Being an indian and working in one of the top IT company as a big data developer myself , I know that anyone can become a good software engineer from any part of the world....because nowadays internet is having all learning resources free of cost....we need only zeal to learn and become....aur usne waisa bola ya claim Kiya apne desh ke logo ke liye to bhi kya dikkat...? There might be very good engineers in Pak and Bangladesh as well.
Now I am proving above point by Just giving u an example , there is a world famous contest for competitive coding in the world named ACM ICPC (it is considered as Olympics of competitive coding for computer science students where hundreds of countries's thousands of teams take part and compete) and last year a team from Bangladesh beated indian team for the very first time and became champion from south asia zone and to be honest that is a huge achievement for them (for last 20 years india used to be the lone champion from south asia zone) but last year our neighbour gave really good competition to us and they proved their mettle...so no need to belittle anyone.....be humble if u are in good condition... because always there is a scope of improvement and always there are some badasses who are much better than u..no matter how good u are...

Why don't you also call scientists, poets, writers etc to your podcast as well? Is IT the only thing left in this world?
