Too much brightness coming from object of interest demands low aperture in camera. Light from stars is too dim. You can not have both. Try taking a picture of a bright object with a starry night as background with your cellphone to get the same result.

The most suspicious thing about the Falcon Heavy/Tesla Roadster video is the view of the Earth shown here. We were shown this view almost immediately after the FH achieved orbit. However, the video shows the entire earth from a distance *MUCH* higher than low earth orbit of a few hundred miles. The view of the Earth is consistent with an altitude of many thousands of miles - not a few hundred. Some may claim that this is due to the use of an extreme wide-angle lens with > 180 deg FOV, but that is clearly not the case because the Tesla Roadster in the foreground shows none of the optical effects of such a lens. Reaching an altitude of roughly 10,000 miles in such a short period of time seems extremely unlikely even with the low mass of the Falcon Heavy payload.
Something is very wrong with the time sequence of the video images that were shown to us. I'm about 99% sure that the Falcon Heavy launch was embellished with *some* pre-prepared CGI images for PR purposes.

Can some one please explain......So the earth is orbiting the sun at 64,000mph and the sun is moving at 540,000mph through the galaxy. What is star man's speed in all this ? Wouldn't the car just need to sit in one place and see the solar system go past at 540,000mph ? Don't smell right here.

At 24 seconds on this video, how long has the car been separated from the rocket, and how high is it?
This is IMPORTANT because the ISS is orbiting at 408km and is NOT high enough to get a view of the Earth like this.
Does the car have any telemetry gear on it?
Does it have any guidance system on it?
Is it 'on a journey into deep space', or is it just orbiting in Low Earth Orbit, entirely at the whims of Earth's gravitational pull?
Without any independent booster of its own, can it break out of Low Earth Orbit and achieve a flightpath through space of its own, or is it trapped in an orbit like a satellite?
The significance of these questions is that the image of the Earth the CAR'S CAMERA gives us, is a WHOLE EARTH IMAGE and is a ground-breaking first! NASA have never produced images like this.
The time-line and telemetry is crucial here - how long after launch was this video shot, and at what altitude?

Exactly. Apparently, satellites (of which there are approximately 1600) don't carry the correct camera or lens to get a whole-Earth image.

In the .15 second video, pause it at .08secs (shadow on the hood from device in studio); pause it at .15secs (device through windshield in front of the hood of the car); .20secs (reflection of device in the studio on car door); pause it at .26secs (shadow of device pans in on lower part of car door from .26 - .28 seconds). Geez! 🙂
