@@soulbomer Its the equipment. Chilly made some changes on the equipment, so although you can still use your old equipment, start ditching it out or save it as memorabilia. New equip works very different, same with the forging system. Also now you have elemental dmg and nature dmg instead of fire, ice, poison, light, etc dmg. I honestly like that was done, makes builds easier. I also also noticed a change on the dropping system. Now you can get insane equipment on normal runs. AND for some reason, at least for me, I keep getting cryio and pyro (hex pendant thingy) like they're giving candy away.

this new season feels like all of the classes are so weak and getting fatebound is so hard now because you need to be lvl 60 te get double fatebound, and you can't even lvl up your weapon because the weapon lvl was fixed and you need to grind for a duplicate that has higher lvl, and on top of that they also remove the boons😢
IDK man, i still prefer the old crafting system, atleast back then we have 1 guaranteed FB and we get to choose but now it's all RNG, it's as if current gearing system is based by getting a shitton of resources (either farm 24/7 or P2W) and just hope for the best
not really tbh, legendary items drop more often as compared to before the update, main reasons why you would have lower damage are the level of the equips and your enhancement level

And to create at least one piece of equipment, you need 20 cards. How are you going to get used to the fact that the developers literally spit in our face, us free to play players? Although if you invest money in the game, then everything is fine and well with you. I personally deleted the game because everything is already clear with it. You can't upgrade them and most of the skills are now useless, Assassin dealt milions of damage with Stealth and now IT'S JUST A DAMN SPEEDBOOST. Listen, they improved the game a lot, but I can't just grind all over with a new build.
I'm having fun using the Elementalist class! So far, I'm having success with the laser build. Not sure if this is "the best", but here's my idea: Elemental Beam + Elemental Polychromator as my main skills to use. Icicles to trigger the Cold ailment (+ Dark and Poison via specialization), and Pyrofloo for defense and mobility (also specialization effects). Mana Siphon + Multishot + Elemental Equilibrium to constantly trigger the passives + unli use of skills. Lifesteal for sustain. And finally, Gravitic Nova for damage boost + easier targetting.
They probably didn't fully predict how much this would impact the damage or if they did, then it might be to reduce the numbers and calculations the game needs to handle so it'll be better for performance (as in less lag).

Yeah all my optimized classes went to the gutter lmao. Funny thing who, I like the huge update on the legendary weap. Instead of having just that one regular fatebound that increases stats having a whole variety really makes the game more fun to play. Also, I noticed a HUGE change on mana. My classes ALL OF THEM had a severe mana deficiency, so now I look myself prioritizing mana regen a bit more than before. Good thing is, my Elementarist class that barely did a fraction of what my void classes did now can do twice as much as my better classes after the update.
so far it's been good, you can farm specific items in specific maps, also the damage is just right for me. I'm using paragon with 1:1 str, int backslash, blowout, concentrate fatebounds + arch knight sword doing 400k while level 35. it takes a while to get used to the new system but when you finally get a hang of it, it's kinda easy to navigate around
The only thing I'm so annoyed about is the slide casting skills. Where we can charge our mainhand weapon while sliding to our other skills to use it. Now it's gone lol
Alright so, for the past like, 2 days or whatever I've been grinding instead of doing my damn homework, SO I'll explain what I can gather. Note, I am a mage, beware everything here is purely from a mage/mana/range standpoint and i am clinically too stupid to understand how "hurr hurr melee" works. This guide is **mainly for Elementarist class**, since that's what I am currently using for this season. Previous meta for this class was to use volcanic rift with aphophis impact (meteor shower thing) where you spam volcanoes that shoot fire and leave ember. Then with as many embers as you can you summon lots and lots of meteors making your phone so hot you start to think the game is in 4D and your phone getting a convolution is a game design choice. That meta doesn't work, or at least for me, it didn't worked in this season. Instead, now I'm using Elemental Polychromator (funny prism thing), Elemental Beam (hyper beam from pkm) and the meteor shower skill. This is due to the boons you can equip on the Specializations. Now, I'll be honest, I haven't found a way to effectively use Icicles and PyroFloo. The latter instead of sending a fireball, you ARE the fireball. Basically the effect you could get with some insane equip boots from previous seasons. This build heavily leans on the fire side of Elementarist, and thanks to the spec it can generate a lot of Ember, mainly from the laser beam. You now have access to all skills, so its much easier to test builds (thank god). Main DPS comes from beam and prism, my equip uses Nematoth Eft, which is just the FB but now you can get the effect with one equip instead of requiring at least two. You can use Cryo or Pyro Helhearts. I use Cryo, havent tested performance compared to Pyro yet. Sopho doesnt buff much. For ring I am using Prestidigitators, but I may end up changing it since this build is not really a CD as I believed. Probably change t Murmuring Ring since that gives vulnerability when enemy is struck with ailment. Now, I haven't found a better alternative, but I ended. up using Rapture of the Fallen (helment), it reduces mana cost, this build uses mana like dodge from the 70s eat gasoline. I'll explain why later. For Weap use something like Foculon, it directly benefits Elemental beam by creating prisms at the target, which is insane. Now for the specs. Two in particular: Meteor spec and elemental beam spec. For elemental beam use cooldown, dexterous, armored, discordance and motility. Cooldown triggers Concentration, aka more mana regen. Motility allows you to move while "imma fire ma lazor" thing. Armored gives you a shield, which is useful if you plan to use equipment that boosts dmg when having one. Discordance buffs atk against enemies with ailment of the same element. Dexterous makes beam rotation faster. This is important for Motility, as now it will auto-target the nearest enemy instead of manually control it (which i find INFINITELY BETTER). For meteor use Pyroduction, Exaltation, Mangling and Electrosurge. You can also replace Mangling and Electrosurge with Apolycon and Swathing. Pyroduction increases ember from Meteor. Exaltation allows you to absorb all embers around, but consume 5 mana for each meteor. This is the reason why this build is so ridiculously mana hungry. Electrosurge and Mangling should be paired together. Mangling has a chance to give Vulnerability when striking with thunder meteor and Electrosurge can create balls of lightning while also increasing the chance of getting thunder meteors. Apolycon and Swathing can increase fire damage and increase ember absorbing area respectively With this build I can easily mop the floor in Valk, currently in floor 254, where current limitation is that i havent fully upgraded my equipment and don't get enough time to clear the boss. If you get way too much ember you can always use the dragons for a bit more of damage. I haven't found a way I can take advantage of cold skills yet, let me know if any found a way. This build is obviously not the best nor the ultra meta build that almost all Elementarist players use, but its competent enough to keep up with the new seasonHope this guide helps
Same bro I hardly did any damage on first day even with 60 level and me too I also completed carnilion rank in 2 hours with riftvoker . Even today I reach to 9mil damage 😅 and one tip take advantage of legendary effect too and using boss equipment will hardly do any help.😅
I'm a Dread knight and i got Carneliean in an hour with previous seasson blue armor. and my damage is only getting better. and im just building what you would normally build on dread knight.
In my opinion they made Stormblade better. My last season stormblade was max level and the skill set is much better now bc of the specs, basically i can spam so much shurikens and then use the arc slash and trigger it on every shuriken on screen. The new weapon also takes it to another level
This update nerfed almost all classes now that most passive skills are gone, especially the vindicator. I don't know why, but my vindicator doesn't activate Blade of Execution with Umbral Flechette Thrower Edit: Maybe because they removed the Blade of Execution passive, that's why. The damage is fine though. I also noticed that you cannot see the description of fatebounds of the Boss Items when you craft it in the forge.

How do you build a pyroknight then? They removed the heal passive and fire resistance of pyroknight. How do you suppose to counter that dragon armor? I really hate that they removed some skills and passive, its better if the release of new classes would be delayed rather than cutting the skill tree. SS0 really destroyed the game. I've also noticed, you can only gain attack power from a single mainstat, they made the the game overly simple but grinding even more complex

I think it’s a combination of bugs and fatebounds, plus the skills that have been removed arnt gone like leaping strike is in the Shield bash specialization I don’t know if it’s all like that nor do I know if they removed any passives that arnt like stat increases

Soulkeeper keeps crashing my game. It’ll say I have 3-4 summons up but there’s like 20 following me and when they get hit by ailment like lightning we all get electrocuted constantly and I get even more lag and lots of freezes

For me the most disappointment I think is the skills is limited for example artillery is my favorite class but the skill rapid fire skill is not there that is very painful for me as it's is fun to clear rapidly and my second favorite class is stormwarden but the most famous skill is missing like leaping strike dame man the most useful skills most used is gone (I don't hate the game just disappointed)

It’s over for this game, man they keep fucking up. Game is unplayable it’s glitchy and lagging. I can’t even do anything once I start a match.
As a Ranger my damage improved a lot, specially cuz of assasins bleeding, from 50k dps to 200k dps

I think it’s a combination of bugs and fatebounds, plus the skills that have been removed arnt gone like leaping strike is in the Shield bash specialization I don’t know if it’s all like that nor do I know if they removed any passives that arnt like stat increases

@soulbomer yeah they did but also removes a lot of stuffs, Valkyrie boons no longer exists, the new gear system is the last straw for me, it's already a bad system with how the reforging works now it's even worse with suffixes and 2nd fatebound mechanic

Soulkeeper keeps crashing my game. It’ll say I have 3-4 summons up but there’s like 20 following me and when they get hit by ailment like lightning we all get electrocuted constantly and I get even more lag and lots of freezes

For me the most disappointment I think is the skills is limited for example artillery is my favorite class but the skill rapid fire skill is not there that is very painful for me as it's is fun to clear rapidly and my second favorite class is stormwarden but the most famous skill is missing like leaping strike dame man the most useful skills most used is gone (I don't hate the game just disappointed)
Just like if the old insane items like insane great sword are they still obtainable?
