Thanks for the great video. I think I’ll do the same on my 87 IROC I just picked up.

Thanks for the comment... Not much sense heating up the air going in when everybody wants to do a cold air intake system... lol...

May I suggest using a socket tool when working with hose clamps. It looked like you were close to piercing your palm a couple of times with that screwdriver :) Thanks for the vid tho.

I like the tip as I have a 1985 Corvette and would like to know the "How To" on the complete car! I'd like to do mods to make this a little badass Corvette on a shoestring budget and some help from the other gearheads reading this comment. And just may have some good parts to sell cheap here in Indianapolis, Indiana

at what temperatures outside would this be bad to drive the car in (and why)? Picking up my first 1996 Vette tomorrow. I'm no mechanic but enjoy the ease of many of the upgrades i've seen to this generation of cars so this will be my first go at it!

You can still drive at any temperatures.

    1) is that hose a 5/8" hose ?
    2) is it a MUST to capp off the 2 ports on the throttle body afterwards ? Thanks in advance

Hey Peace... Yes it is a 5/8 ID hose. No it is not a must to cap off the 2 ports. Just makes it cleaner look. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching.

@@JerryJacksonDIY thanks for the vid. I've been working on c4's from their introduction, the htr hoses & nipple i've found are not the same size. From doing this procedure many times the hse that comes from the bottom of the trot. body is usually a 3/4 & the hse that comes off the side of the throt. body is 5/8. Now in the BYPASS KIT is all the items 5/8? It would have been great to mention the sizes of the items in ur video talk. So, was the nipple 5/8 also that went into the 3/4 " hose? Thanks, Best.
