I pay homage to A Private Little War. It inspired my hobby writing for a few years. The Nona character became my adopted woman warrior, and the Hill people became my make believe adoptive tribe for my main character. Thank you Nona and the Hill people for great inspiration.
4:08 this scene is very strong, if you ignore the funny-looking makeup it's actually a really heavy situation... one which can happen anytime in today's world
Sometimes I wonder if it was hinted that Spock was depressed or thought of suicide. Especially when I watch the first clip, it feels like a boiling point for Kirk to react so strongly.
Taken in these small clips, without the distractions of the show, it feels different. I still hold that the depiction of daily routine aboard the Nostromo in Alien, is what I'd expect. The ISS drives this home, for me. Day to day routine. Nothing more or less.

Obsession is such an under rated episode. The scene between Kirk Spock and Bones is excellent.

I love Nomad. A very creative prop. But how did they make the illusion of it floating.
Fishing line strung from a boom above the camera angle. Occasionally, you can glimpse a light flash reflecting from.it.
