Idk it’s it’s better but I just spammed the first one in the combat simulator by starting each round with a magnify fira and then just spamming triangle until anyone left is dead. Would take around 10-15 seconds total to finish. You can routinely get 2000 Gil from the grab bag so you actually make money as well.
It’s actually faster to just do the first Shinra enemies mission, one windstorm for first battle, two windstorms for second and third. Finish all at best time of 10 seconds of game time. And costs less. If you mess up, I think my longest complete was like 30 seconds for a windstorm not hitting right and actually just finishing the battles normally. 🤗

I did the first VR mission with Elemental and fire on weapon. Once at fifty I consistently did in under 10 seconds. Have easy done in 3 seconds and normal in 5 seconds. Also got over 200k gil
Can someone explain why the AP ups materia and the armor is NOT stacking?!?! I’ve been playing on PS5 and I’m not even getting double AP for yuffies weapon even though I already purchased the AP UP ability…
It is, 7-10 seconds for 100 less Gil and over 225 AP… the loading, quitting and restarting takes longer in the second than just doing the first all the way through…..
I tested this, and no it doesn't. A materia that's not on one of the AP Up equipment pieces and not linked to AP Up materia still only goes up by the number it says when you kill something. The biggest multiplier you can get is x4: linked AP Up on the Ninja Armlet. Disappointing, because this is still quite grindy without it, and most people going to the trouble will have already done this on the normal game.
I wonder which of the unique weapons/armor/accessories we got in INTERmission we'll be able to use with the whole party in FFVIR Part 2... and vice versa. I wonder if they'll have Yuffie steal and then LOSE a lot of what we earned in Part 1. I've played through Part 1 at least 6 times, so I have a ton of mastered Materia.
Anybody know how to break out of the Bound animation in round 2 of the rank 3 simulation battle? The Deepground gunners can counter constant melee attacks from the front and knock Yuffie down. I've only once been able to counter back, break out of the animation, and knock the gunner down. I assume it's a certain button press or mash at a key point of the animation?

After the two machines attack you in scarlet's room you can grab it from the big liquid filled machine that it was in. It's the one yuffie looks at during the cutscene when you first enter. After the fight you can grab it. The second one I believe is from chadly condor game on hard mode

This method is so clutch, that I'm getting the bugs down in literally 1 second.
This was exactly the same method I did. Except I rolled into them and did windstorm. Had no idea you can throw and then "detonate" it.

Level 37 is fine to start hard mode at tbh it scales evenly. Level 50 is needed for the VR
