Love, love, love my Radspeed; this driver in the LS version takes it up a notch for sure. Saw the reviews of LTDx LS vs Darkspeed and whatever last years version was...this seemed to be better than last year's model and hits straighter and just as long as the Darkspeed. I got just got fit this morning at Club Champion and my swing numbers are very similar to Mikey's...The LTDxLS was better for me all around then the Stealth or the Rouge. A close second was the new Mizuno driver, don't remember the name. Miss hits were surprisingly forgiving, Dispersion was great and I averaged almost 10 yards longer carry over the TM, Callaway and my current G410LS (all 3 produced very similar numbers for me). On good strikes I picked up closer to 15 in carry with 20+ in the total gained ... I haven't played Cobra products in decades but don't sleep on this one...
I just wanted to leave some feedback on this video. I've been on the fence about buying a new driver to replace my vintage Nike SUMO. After months of researching I narrowed it down to the Callaway Rogue ST Max and the Cobra LTDx LS. After watching this video for the second time, I finally made my choice. Mike and I have similar swing speeds and ball speeds, and the way he hit the LS was exactly what I'm looking for. Finally pulled the trigger this morning and am excited to get it and start getting used to it! So, overall, thanks for the great video and helping me finally upgrade!
Just to add to the story, I received my LTDx LS 9.0 with the HZRDUS Smoke iM10 60 stiff shaft yesterday and immediately headed to the range with it. Compared to my old Nike, this is an absolute bomber. I was literally shocked at the distance difference. I haven't seen drives that long off my driver, ever. I'm a pretty consistent striker of the ball. I play a draw and can work it a little bit. The drives coming off this club were so straight, and penetrating in the wind, I'm just blown away. It may take a bit of effort to actually hit a high draw with it, but who needs to when it goes exactly where you're aiming every time? Even mishits were long. If you're playing an older driver like I was (15 years) I'd definitely take a look at the new drivers. Love it.
Great video. These are the first Cobra drivers I've ever found interesting. Really looking forward to seeing the fairway wood review though. They've caught my eye a bit.
Crazy how much stabilization really is the new catch word for golf, but it is the real issue with most of us plebs on the course. We just don't hit center strikes enough, so finding a friend who can off forgiveness is so important. Look forward to see how the rest stack up against this Cobra and apparently Callaway offering the same sales pitch

On the one hand, Mikey not hitting it THAT far makes you feel good about yourself, but then how straight he hits it makes you feel bad about yourself. Nice balance. :)
Your best reviews are the ones with regular players with realistic swingspeeds. Matty was fun because we were egging him on to hit the longest ever. It wasn't realistic though. More Mr Average please. We rely on you for honest data. I think you could go lower than average. Many guys with disposable income are competent players, lacking speed.
Excited about the prospect of 90/100/110 type testing, probably sits at the meat of the market. I’m curious how you handle Low spin models which are naturally marketed towards stronger swings, but also sheds light on how a good fitting can utilize all the heads from a range.
PaulD I’m waiting for Ian to fit Mike for a shaft for Cobra LTD x LS, then do a test, between his SIM2 gamer. Kind of an apples to oranges comparison with one optimized and the other driver not.
I went full bag on Cobra, except for the Scotty putter. They did my irons and wedges in one day and I get them tomorrow. Kinda blown away by that. Driver and 5 wood in a few weeks when they launch. Can’t wait.
Couldn’t agree more. It doesn’t do me a lot of good to see Matt swing ten+ MPH faster than I do and still hit em all right in centre of the face. I care a lot more about how seeing how stable/forgiving the cobras were on Mike’s lower toe strikes. That’s what sells a club: keep the okay hits in good shape.
The most important thing to understand is to get fitted for a driver! Not be brand loyal at all. Everyone has that perfect setup for their swing,,,, ya just got to find it!!

Very surprised by Cobra this year. A surprise to myself when I went for my driver fitting. Never considered Cobra until I hot one. Have ordered the LTDX LS with X-Stiff shaft. Cannot wait for it to arrive. Also added the LTDX 3 and 4 Hybrids to compliment.
For me Mikey’s natural shot shape of a pull/draw was certainly more evident with the Ltd ls. Not sure if his miss is right but id have more confidence with the cobra giving him the ability to be able to move it more right to left and there was no starting left going further left even with the toe strikes..
As I mentioned in the Stealth review video, it's extremely difficult to compare products when one is hit far lower on the clubface. You know that hitting it lower on the face will lower launch and increase spin, therefore, nullifying any comparisons. I know you can't expect the avg golfer to hit the middle of the face all the time. But when dealing with such small sample sizes, it's imperative that you match the data across test subjects. Hit 10 with each club and then pick the 3 to 5 from each with the most similar strikes. Tha would greatly increase the accuracy of your comparison and would not be that difficult to do.
Love the txg production and structure of the content. Unfortunately I’m mainly here for the club reviews and regardless of swing speed if you can’t find a centre strike it’s kind of redundant. As good a player as Matty was/is he still mixed up the toe strikes and heel strikes when he wasn’t hitting bombs.
But isn't that the most accurate review? Some days you wont find middle consistently and you want a stick that can still perform even on days you don't have your best stuff. Nice to see someone with a more avg strike pattern get performance on those off center hits. The gains of modern drivers are next to nothing on center strikes but the gains for most golfers will be how far and controllable the ball is when they hit their avg bad strike.
I know you guys keep getting bombarded with Matty comments I've been guilty myself but have to let you know I really enjoyed this one keep it up lads and good luck Ian with the never adventure exciting times!!
I have the same strike pattern with my F8+ driver with fitted Devotion shaft, as Mike did with the LTDx driver. Would a slight change in shaft create a more centred/optimal strike, or tee height/swing adjustment? Thanks, Jason.
Looking forward to more head to head testing at different speeds especially slower as I just turned 69 and hit my Mizuno st 190 HL 215 yards to 220 yards carry.
Michael should be doing most of everything since his swingspeed is much closer to avg golfers. It is much more beneficial. I use him as my benchmark. I bought the ltd x and my best was 148mph ball speed, 288 total pretty close to Mikey. Just started golfing again after 5 years, so hopefully I will catch Mikey by end of year.
It would be interesting to know what percentage of the players you fit swing above 100mph or perhaps 110mph? I can only speak for myself but I don't come here for high speed entertainment, I come for game help and appreciate seeing Radar Mike at a nice speed . I used to be fast but now as an old guy I'm around 108-110mph and fear that the game and focus is leaving me behind. I'm also questioning the Ventus Black 6S I'm playing if the Black is as Ian said only for stronger faster players. Don't grow old boys, don't grow old!

I had the 2016 LTD and boy it was long when hit perfectly.
I have the same strike pattern with my F8+ driver with fitted Devotion shaft, as Mike did with the LTDx driver. Would a slight change in shaft create a more centred/optimal strike, or tee height/swing adjustment? Thanks, Jason.
Love seeing Mikey in the bay... we have near-identical clubhead speeds but he's 25 yards past me, shows i gotta work on driver delivery
Looking forward to more head to head testing at different speeds especially slower as I just turned 69 and hit my Mizuno st 190 HL 215 yards to 220 yards carry.
Great dynamic. Keep this trio going! (although I know y'all have day jobs)
Lots more of this to come!! 👊🏻
I'm excited to try the LTDx LS as I really want the best possible balance between cutting my spin but handling mishits.
What camera views are you using on FSX?
What shaft are you using in the LTDX heads?
Cobra always seems to have the most interesting innovation, definitely getting the LTDx
You won’t be disappointed!! Get fit though, a driver that good really needs to be dialled in to max out performance.
This is the new HOT F9 😁. Wow Mikey have some serious juice in that driver swing. Think Cobra will win the driver war this season.
It’s going to be in the mix that’s for sure!!
What shaft was he using. Nice job
Sorry to hear you have slowed down to 108-110mph. I dream of having that most nights :)
With a slight loss in clubbed weight, what is the likelihood of it being a good fit for the mysterious auto flex?
👀, if the people demand it it will happen!!
@@ianfrasergolf be trying it at your TO shop on Feb 12. could get costly haha. Hopefully you are around to say Hi !
@txg what flex shaft is Mike gaming?
Well done boys! Gotta be said takes some big kahunas to step up to a TXG tee during a review let alone faced with that fairway so 👍👍👍Mikey. 🤙 ❤️🏴☠️
I actually like Mike testing these products - his speed is a lot closer to mine haha
great video and a relatable ball speed and guy hitting the ball, Matty was great but not relatable to me
Anyone know the reason why Matty left?
