How long does something like this take to complete?

In my case it took 10 hours, but I didn't have my settings dialed in properly. It was a 300DPI image, so I probably should have lowered it some, or cut the lines per inch down in Lightburn. I also ran the laser at a slower speed with a lower power setting. It is a 10W, BTW.

@@WilliamAgans Thanks for the reply. I've been considering purchasing a machine like this. I love to 3d print and my love for creating is evolving. Would you mind recommending a good starter laser engraving machine that isn't too small/weak but also affordable?

@@KiCkiN828 I have been meaning to post a full video review of this machine for a while. While it isn't perfect, and there is a bit of a learning curve, I am enjoying it. Two Trees seems to be a bit cheaper than many other brands that I have seen. I also hear great things about XTool, but the price is a bit higher. I would definitely get a least a 10W (Optical Power) regardless of what brand you choose. Higher power will allow for faster cuts (although at a higher price point). Also add an air assist to your budget, if the machine you choose doesn't include one.
I will try to finally get my review together this week. Subscribe if you haven't already and keep an eye out for it!

I haven't had any time at all to post my review. I did see this deal while I was looking through Prime Day items. Xtool is a highly rated brand from what I have seen. It was the original engraver I was looking at until I was lured away by the lower price of the Two Trees that I am currently using. I'm including a Prime Day link for the D1, which is a 10 Watt optical power. There are much higher power lasers out there now, but the price goes up considerably. Like most things, the question becomes, "Do you have more money than time, or more time than money?"
List price is $899, but Amazon is currently listing at $559, and there is a $127 coupon, bringing it down to $432!
