I know this is a little off topic but I'm looking into getting a 592 and I'm curious about what's available for gains from porting? Do you think it's worth the time and money? It sounds like their pretty strong to begin with just wanted to hear your opinion!
Don't discount the diameter and the placement of the dual port exhaust ports you have on there. IMHO the scavenging affect of the exhaust on the 572xp is finicky to achieve the best results but critical in getting the best torque out of the saw along with the port work done.

They port up nice ..good bit better than stock..395xp still whoop them tho

i put a 7 tooth back on yhe 460 lite... i see what ya mean as far as liking it beyter than an 8
