Those are some sweet knives. The number refers to the model. The 21 is the older model in S35VN. The 31 is the newer model now in S45VN and MagnaCut and it has a few updates including a ceramic ball detent. The drop point blade is the regular Sabenza, while the sheep's foot blade is the Insingo Sabenza. I have a plain jane 31 in S45VN. Love that knife, they are workers, but I'm kinda digging the micarta inlays.
It’s recommended on the CRK website that there is a break in period. I have a large 31 s45vn macasar with glass blasted handles from 2021 that flicks out quicker than my pm2. And I have a 2021 insingo magnacut 31 with black micarta that took me about 2 months of open close and now it’s finally breaking in and about 80% compared to my large 31 macasar. The true sebenza experience is when they get broken in. That’s the legendary sebenza smoothness.
Oh wow good to know, i wasn't really aware of this. Definitely makes me want to get one.. before, i wasn't sure how they broke in! Also Feel free to subscribe so you dont miss my knife reviews!:)
