Lorna DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE SUB STANDARD! After watching day three and how you persevered and focused on the goal.. I am so proud to have been able to watch your heroism. I would hike anywhere with you. You are a true competitor, especially when you are competing with yourself. Keep a stiff upper lip and plow on, you're wonderful.
You are an inspiration, no really you are. I do short walks approx 4 miles daily. And sometimes literally have to throw myself out the door, telling myself this walk isn't going to walk itself. 30+ yrs ago i did a couple of marathons. Lorna this accomplishment will stay with you for the rest of your life. Its amazing and brilliant. So far in such a short time. True endurance. Awesome job and great scenery and loved the pointing out with history and the names of places and things. Thank you for sharing these remarkable adventures. What a great slice of life for us!
So glad to see you persevere (oh that’s the other vlog :) You did amazingly well pushing through your pain barrier and you looked as though you were beginning to enjoy the experience. Well done 👍
Hi Lorna: have been following your and Jo's long distance walk, avidly. You have been lucky with the weather! So glad you found you could keep going, but do remember to just enjoy your holiday as well. Thanks for the interesting bits of history. More please.😀
Well done for carrying on after yesterday's punishing walk, it must have been soul destroying in those latter stages. LOL at passing a woman in day cloths - a bit like when mariners spot a seagull meaning they're close to land.
Thanks Lorna, for your stick to it attitude, I know that challenge is hard, but your a winner for all... proud of your efforts...and love your documentation, I can recall from time to time.
You and Jo are so strong in spirit. It's good that you were able to continue, Lorna, through the beautiful scenery. And I envy for having seen the Jacobite steam train in that fantastic setting.
Hi Lorna, I have followed your channel from the start, I don't comment very often, but I have to say well done, and good luck, Realy hope you make it to the finishing line.
I consider you to be a most accomplished woman ..your very brave even though you may have doubts you push through...that's a survivors spirit....!.I'd make you an honorary Cherokee Squaw if I could!!......you go girl!!!😊
Though there are many more dramatic scenes in Scotland, I loved this section, and really enjoyed the hospitality of the Bridge of Orchy hotel, before taking the evening train back to Crianlarich. Also loved the wild camping behind the King's House and the Climbers Bar. Andy, enjoying the memories, Nb Whiskey Mac.
Nup L.J. your doin well, I'll catch up with day 1, 2, 3, a bit later but, I have confidence in your ability. Thanks m8, you and yours stay safe and well
Have been in this wonderful Invervardran Guest House few years ago. Was on a short hiking trip around but didn’t the full round. Was a cold winter morning with frosty temperatures and sun. Loveley
Robert the Bruce is supposed to be on my family tree and what I can make of it might very well be true. My grandfather's name was Wallace Bruce Fletcher. I am enjoying your walk but it looks like it was a challenge. I would have rather done it earlier in the season with many more stops so that I could really enjoy the views and do some plain aire watercolor...ah, dreams of past..woulda, shoulda, coulda. Best to you..
Only you know what personal demons you are laying to rest on this walk! By golly they are being slaughtered! Good on you and the very best of luck. I watch both yours and Jo's vlog. OK your coordination with the poles may not be the 'official' way but watching Jo's vlog, Day 4 @ 15:20 shows grit, determination and courage. Well done, looking forward to you getting to Fort William.
Thank You !! ...I hike a lot : ) ...you two are not fooling around with 96/100 miles ... and rain makes it so much harder ... hey have fun !! I know you have some city grit !!! Thank You very much for the walk along : )
Yes, a good sign it's done, is when you see locals in local attire in the distance. Funny how you dismissed thoughts that where unrelated to your present action... better to concentrate, sprain's are a bugger on such an endurance walk, it's kind of a competition, with yourself, which love so much that human situation .

Really glad you made it girl! What an awesome trip. Keep Going. You CAN do it.
Well done Lorna. You didn't give up. Good luck for the rest of the journey.
"We just want some warmth and shelter" that's so true! At the end of the day im always so grateful to not be out in the cold
Greatly appreciate the historical descriptions, still walking at seventy years, love the encouragement.
Congratulations on such an ambitious walk
Really interesting watching the scenery unfold
Thanks for sharing
Regards

Having just watched the first four back to back, I'm looking forward to day 5.
Well done you! You and Jo are an awesome team.
Happy to see you made it. I love this area of Scotland
So proud of you Lorna, when you didnt know where you hurt the most you persevered and made it. Good on ya!!
I was proud that you went on . You have proven you are a strong lady ..
Don't know you but really proud of you.
Passing train station was a personal win .
You can beat anything if you can surpass your self
Well done ladies
Good video keep up the good video of you trip
Any long walk or cycle ride is hard work and definitely one to ask your self why are we doing it lol but you guys have cracking it well done 👍
Lorna you are an amazing badass!!! Continue being excellent
There are so many tiny logistical things I am learning about hiking like this - drying your shoes overnight :o
Stunning views!
Admire your perseverance!
You are a trooper!
Nup L.J. your doin well, I'll catch up with day 1, 2, 3, a bit later but, I have confidence in your ability. Thanks m8, you and yours stay safe and well
Great job girls….I’m still with you….you can do this, keep up the good work ! ….
That probably was the Jacobite heading home to Carnforth at the end of the season.
Wow a steam engine how cool. I’d say 14 miles in 6 hours is a good pace, it would cause some physical stress for me too.
Onya Lorna, well done!!
Lovely, I like to watch your videos.

Every body is different and has different needs. Gotta do what’s right for the individual
I always have to be careful when walking. I'm a landscape photographer and i'm ok on the flat(ish) bits but slopes and steps defeat me often
Downhills are my nemesis
There are at least three more As in TRAAAAAIN! than you used, ask Colin :)
...in it to win it ... : )
Thank You !! ...I hike a lot : ) ...you two are not fooling around with 96/100 miles ... and rain makes it so much harder ... hey have fun !! I know you have some city grit !!! Thank You very much for the walk along : )
Keep on - keepin on - even if it DOES mean 'carrying' your sticks :-)
Colin (Silver Fox) would have enjoyed the steam engine, too!
Really enjoying this Lorna. Interesting to to hear your thoughts on the way . Do you have some Scottish blood. You pronounce LOCH very well ! x
I speak Irish which has that same ch sound that doesn’t exist in England. Definitely something you have to train your tongue to do
Blimey
👍
