I have had a highlight at my last tenement. So what happend was I was serving and I got a ace, then another ace, and after that i got 2 more aces, the it was my last serve I was so sweaty it was like I was bathing in my own sweat. And if I didnt make this we would have lost. So I serve the ball with 30 seconds left of the game. And I aced it, and we won by 1 point. I never forgot that moment from 5 weeks ago.
In my second game I was playing left back base but was in middle back to start off and the other team was serving and I got whacked in the face with that ball and did a whole spin move. It's online I think. It was embarrassing. It was like a couple weeks ago. Edit: Oh and also if you want to watch good digs go to Delaney Moon channel she is a really good volleyball player libero. In club volleyball videos she is jersey #1 but in her school videos she is jersey #5
Are we not going to talk about how he said the serve was 50-60 feet away from the guy who served, yet he hit the back wall. The volleyball court is 60 feet long, looking at where the ball would've landed it probably would have been around 85 feet away. I don't mean to be that guy, but he's in college volleyball. I get he's just trying to be funny, but I'm 14, and I know this.
I play middle for a national team in 12u. We had our tournament last weekend and since two players didn’t come to the tournament we had to change the lineup(which confused me a lot), our libero had to play outside(since she is short she had to jump as high as she could which caused her to hit out of bounds a few times). Our libero,both setters, and an outside played all around. Can anyone give me tips on how to adjust to those things quicker? It was a bit harder to adjust as we only had one practice to practice it. Also I need some tips on how to get better at serving cus my serve floats a lot and is very easy for the other teams to pass.
My highlight that wasn’t on recording was when I first started volleyball and didn’t know how to set I spent weeks learning, all to set once in my first entire year and instead of it being high enough to spike it hit the net and we lost the point😭
1:08 well... it obviously will look tha you're jumping higher than a tall player to hit the same set, because you need to jump higher to hit it. I'm 165cm (5'5) and i need to jump really high just to hit where my friend that is 196cm(6'5) hit with no effort at all
1:04 nah if he thinks that is a odd “gym” to play in he should see what my volleyball team practiced in after a fire that affected every sports facility besides the football field and track was our gyms so we got an old school with no net we had to be the worst team first game of the season we are barely hitting over the net my god it was bad
