Lowered on H&R Springs | 2020 Ford Explorer ST

We had to drop this thing, of course we got it on some new Niche Wheels and Nitto NT420V 275/45R22
These things look amazing on lowering coils. Sure it may not be an important performance mod, but it looks dang good.

You probably know this by now but all I did to install my rear springs 1. Disconnect the rear sway bar links at the sway bar
2. Disconnect the rear shock at the bottom and twist it out of the way
3. Loosen the subframe bolts in front of the rear wheels, about an inch
4. Remove the rear subframe bolts completely with a jack under the diff for support
The stock springs come right out. Put a little silicone grease on the spring insulators so you can easily rotate the springs while loading the suspension during reassembly.

Yeah, do it! It rides like stock, that's the part I love most! It doesn't ride like it's lowered!

hey buddy instead of turning the strut shaft get into the habit of turning the nut off.
great video and love the wheels.
Oh and clean up your shop...lol...

I would have, but it was hard to keep the nut from moving, let alone loosen it.
