Took advantage of the Black Friday offer, mine arrived today. cleaned anf the first brew is in the fermenter. An easy ESB to test the efficiencies of the kit with my BIAB receipes and with what malts and hops I had in the cupboard. More grains and hops arriving tomorrow, got room for another 30 litre fermenter. I will be buying some add-ons for this, mainly the counterflow chiller, but my immersion bought from Geterbrew works fine.

Ive had one of the old model for about 3 years, and while the wifi connectivity is a good addition, the real problem is the fact that the controller isn't PID like the Granfather, Brewzilla et al. Means it takes quite a bit of practice for it to get dialled in as the controller doesn't lower the power as target temp is reached meaning it overshoots

Does the B70 require a 15amp circuit or will it work off a standard plug?

I wish you had reviewed in more detail this new connectivity feature. It's quite blurry what the platform does and if you can use third party software.
It's a nice teaser but I'd like to know more. Any pointers?

We have a plan with Brent who played a pivotal role in the design and launch to come over and record some further content with us covering just the platform

How does this compare to the Brewzilla Gen 4?

At this very moment, brewing my first batch on it... actually dripping the basket after mashing...

4:50 “maybe Chinese”? It’s made by Guten, great OEM/ODM manufacturer, nothing to be ashamed of.

Definitely the point i wanted to make was the level of checks put in & the warranty offered should eliminate any concerns as we have others trying to replicate the Guten made all in ones

The Wi-Fi platform & connectivity is the major difference, do you use connectivity when brewing on an all in one or do you prefer the manual approach?

Manual every time, if you leave it alone - that is when the software tends to do a wobbly and boil over or burn because you misunderstood the overcomplicated menus. User error is where these things tend to mess up and I haven't got time to learn yet another piece of software@@Geterbrewed
