    Hi Graham. I just bought the Brew Monk 40 from Geterbrew, easy to use, and I have two brews nearly finished. I brewed an ESB first to see what the efficiency was, and the 2nd brew was a lot more accurate to my receiples. Building my kegerator this Christmas and New Year, I will be brewing stout, and I have 70/30 gas for that. Just waiting for the fittings and to see if there will be a sale on this New Year for a fridge. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.

      That’s great mate I am delighted you are finding the system easy to use . Are you using the WiFi function or manual. I am in the middle of a brew evening now actually. Just a hoppy pilsner. Only my second brew on the new system. But I plan on doing a good few brews over Christmas . Split batch and some more Guinness clones . A very happy Christmas to you and yours also mate have a good one cheers 🍻

    Yes Graham. Good luck matey. Have you thought about lifting the grain basket. Not kidding, we did 46 litres of oatmeal stout a couple of nights ago. About 12 kg of grain equals nearly 20kg of basket weight. We've rigged up a block and tackle pully system and it's still tricky.
    I hope you love the system and we're looking forward to your first brew on it. 🍻

      Cheers lads yes I have actually. I have a pulley system that I can use but I think I will manage for now as going to do standard brew to start just to get used to the system then work my way up . Looking forward to seen the oatmeal stout on nitro ? . I got my 1000 subscriber todays as well so happy out 😎 . How are you finding your new system ? Looking forward to not have to re-circulate, by hand 😂 . Cheers 🍻

      @@grahamlawlorshomebrewrevie8227 Graham what pressure do you serve your stout at in psi. And what do you gas it up at.
      I used 36 to gas it up and 30 serving but it could probably do with a bit more.
      I’m also still using my 6ft 3/16 beer line like I did for CO2. Is that right.

    Look forward to its use. They are well priced. I have a g30 and am looking for a bigger system for the reason you mentioned. I usually do a double batch but it takes around 10 hours. One thing I like about the g30 counterflow chiller. I wonder if you take the handle off the glass top whether the g30 counterflow chiller would fit it. Great vid. Again.

      Am I right in thinking from the picture you can transfer your wort to your fermenter using either the pump and the top pipe or the bottom tap??

    • @grahamlawlorshomebrewrevie8227
      @grahamlawlorshomebrewrevie8227  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hi Graham. I’ve just renewed my stout tap. Below the handle which unscrew is a nut that can move up and down the thread. I’m not sure what this is for. It seems that the closer to the base the harder it is to pull the handle. Is this it. Cheers
