OMG! You have saved me money....it never occurred to me to make my own ends. Very grateful to you for taking the time to share this as a video. Thank you hun!!

Thank you. I appreciate the tip about curling in the end of the coil wire before you pinch it down. I've never seen anyone do that. What I really appreciate from your method is how meticulous you are in making your coils giving each coil wrap attention, and showing us how to straighten the coils and neatening them up. You do good work not only in your products but in your teaching.
That is the first video I have watched by you. I love that you are so real. "Ah im a little off... so cut some more off. Ah a little to bendy, wack it wjth a hammer it will harden that wire right up! I love it you just cruise through the little imperfections and give solutions. That is what I believe makes a great teacher!
thank you so much for this tutorial. i have been trying to figure out the best way to do these wire ends and secure them tightly. i can now see where i was going wrong and how to finish them off neatly. i enjoy your videos as you show every detail and explain clearly as you work.
Oh my goodness! I have been looking for a tutorial like this forever! Here I am a year after you make the video to thank you SO much! Already pulling out the leather and wire!
This was exactly what I was looking for. I work with leather and have several yards of leather cord. I should have known you would have a video on this! TY.
You just made my whole day! This is the technique I have been looking for! I do not feel that those pre-made "crimp-on" pieces are reliable--I have had the cord of too many beloved necklaces just pull right out from the slightest tug (or sometimes I dont notice any pull at all & they just come loose). Fortinately I have been at home & didnt loose my pendants when this happened but am afraid to wear them again in fwar of losing them while out & about. I have been looking for more secure ways to attach them but couldn't find any. I am good with my hands & tools & am constanly "bushcrafting" things using household items like paperclips, etc. when I meed a quick custom jump ring, zipper pull, etc. so I am so inspired h empowered and feel blessed to have found your TH-cam video! Of course, you are very talents and skilled and make it look so easy! LOL Thank you fir sharing your amazing creativity with us, you have touched and blessed my lofe with this.
Me gustó las tres formas de hacer terminales para los collares, muy fáciles hacer, y muy bien detallado y explicado, muchas gracias por compartir tus conocimientos sobre la bisutería, saludos desde CD Juarez Chihuahua México. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a great video! The close-up camera work is perfect for seeing what you're doing. I realize I'm watching this video three years after the fact, but do you happen to remember what gauge of wire you used for this project? And who knew that flattening out the wire would harden it up, nice tip, thank you,
Thank you! I love the basic to the one with the self-clasp and explanation of hardening the hook gently on the little bench block. You show what tools, what metal and thickness of wire and all those important details and that is so helpful! And also how to straighten out wonky row of coils! Now you're talking!
I always wondered how you finish the ends. You make this look easy, great tutorial for us beginners. Thanks again, fantastic video! Can't wait to see next weeks vid.
Thank you for this video so much. I needed to finish my cords for gifts. I could not find the ends that either took forever to get here, the size wasn't right, or they cost a ridiculous amount of money. I have plenty of wire but wasn't sure how to go about it. I all sizes of cord, so with your help I can get finished today. Again, thank you so much for solving my dilemma. Merry Christmas to you and that sweet little doggy.
Thank you very much for a wonderful instructional video. I really enjoyed it and I learned a great deal of information about making leather cord connections and wrapping.
Thank you for this video! Easy to understand. I am just learning so I can make jewelry to sell. I was a nurse for 25 years but can no longer stand but my hands work (:
Thanks for watching! I hope you found it helpful!
