Wonderfully clear. Thanks for your time and the free lesson.
This is really cool! My dog just passed. She had a 24c gold plated 18mm (3/4") choker chain I had made for her. It was made of titanium and dipped in gold to plate it. I'm considering wearing it as a tribute and keep sake of her memory. I was looking for a nice way to make a clasp for it. This might work and look nicer than the lobster clasp I was considering getting and using.
I'm so sorry....... 😞. I think that's a lovely tribute 💗. I hope you're doing better now?
I went looking to order toggle clasps to use on my diy bracelets, rather than my usual lobster clasps, and I was shocked at the cost. So, here I am, and I’m very impressed with your clasp. I will try my hand with making some tonight. I also agree that they will add to the, “I made this just for you!” concept. It would mean more to me if I received it. Thank you very much. Greetings from a fan in Texas. ✨💖✨
Tons of beads, few findings left to work with and every finding on line is expensive.....Wire I have, and now the expertise to make my own. Kudos
So glad you found it helpful, Sandra!
Nice and clear instruction. I love your calm way of teaching. Thanks so much. ❤
Thanks, I had no idea how to do it, it seems like a nice and convenient technique.♡
You are a very good teacher, I wish everybody I watched as good as you. Also I don't understand why they ever got rid of these kind of closures on jewelry I love them they're so much easier than lobster claws.
Aw, thank you
I really appreciate that you take your time on a good paste to teach also you always stay on the cámaras focal and explains everything so clear and calmed 😍😍😍we need more ppl like you!🙏
Brilliant tutorial. Thanks...and I like that you measured in inches. I'm old fashioned in that way. Cheers
Stunning! I’m going to try this right away!
Very simple, but elegant clasp. I like that I can use the same wire I used on my bracelet. Thank you for sharing.
I love to attend your classes , because you clarify very well , and I learn easily if I could very day I would watch you program , but I work . Congratulations on your dedication. Thanks
Thank you, Geralda, that's so good to hear!
I just found you, and I love the tutorial, very easy to understand, and I also like your voice. Thank you.
Thanks so much, Dora!!
This is great having measurements to use as a clasp. I actually figured out the t-bar part on my own when I was making Bible/book markers but I think yours is much better and takes less time to make. I made mine wide enough to thread a ribbon through and then attached a wire wrapped heart and cross on the end to dangle outside the book. Your videos are always so helpful. I plan to make a bracelet and this will be perfect. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
you prolly dont care at all but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account..?
I somehow forgot the account password. I love any help you can offer me
@Augustus Michael Instablaster :)
@Lucian Damian I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm.
Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Lucian Damian It worked and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much, you really help me out !
@Augustus Michael No problem :D
Thanks for showing in centimeters too 😊
Great video, and I subscribed because you're a great teacher!
Very practical--if you wind up making your bracelet too small (or large), you can instantly fix the length with a nice-looking clasp, that you have on hand. Make a bunch on a boring, rainy day in different sizes.
Applause for this tutorial. Especially the inches and centimeters being mentioned :)
Thanks!! ^_^
You are a fantastic artist thank you for the video ❤😊
Great video! My first try needs more wire, but I'm getting the hang of it.
Great tutorial, easy to follow, and a wonderful clasp.
Thank you so much, Annette!
This is the best toggle tutorial! Others are never specific enough about the measurements of the circle to the bar.
Thank you for sharing. I plan to try it.
Very very Cool 🎉❤

Never thought about making a toggle clasp but I do make hook clasps. I prefer the look of toggle clasps though and this is a great tutorial. Thanks!
Thank you, Sandra! So glad you found it helpful. I also have a video on some decorative hook style clasps :) th-cam.com/video/z9yClKemYek/w-d-xo.html
@@FantasiaElegance I'll check it out. Thanks!
Good verbal/visual explanation :)
Thanks That was very helpful and will save me a lot of moneyand adding an other way to be creative
Great tutorial Jocelyn !!! Thanks !!! Watching I also got the idea that the piece of the toggle with the circle would make a fantastic earring component. Add a couple crystal dangles and ear wires and voila, beautiful yet simple earrings :)

Any conversion of units is quite easy, without disturbing the maker. Using google, type- convert into subject line. Click link for convert. Choose your units whether length weight, volume, distance and so on. You may then choose to bookmark the page and add to toolbar of your browser? Now it is easily referenced. It is quite intuitive and a brief tap gives the answer. But hey, thanks presenter for going that extra distance for both units!
Me encantan tus pinzas que marca son, donde las consigo?saludos desde la República Dominicana!

Thank you so much for this perfect tutorial! Exactly what I needed ❤

EXCELENTE EXPLICACIÓN. GRACIAS. DESDE CARTAGENA (COLOMBIA)
How in the world do you do wire work like this with out any tape or anything on your tools? I'm loving wire work but hate all the little nicks on the wire so I'm using artist tape. Such a pain but it beats marking the wire!
Thank you for sharing. Exactly what I was looking for! You are the tweaking queen, lol. I do that too. Helps to be meticulous. Love your videos!
Great tutorial, thank you!
Looks great !!! Thanks so much !!!
Thank you for sharing with us.
Excellent tutorial!
Love ‘em! Thanks for this tutorial I now how the means to finish off the jewelry I’ve been watching.💗👍
I'm really interested in making jewelry. But confused with the hard, soft, wired. How and when do you know which one to use. Of all the videos I've watched on jewelry making, I've found yours are more fascinating to watch.
Thanks, Vicki! You might find these two videos I've done on wire to be helpful: th-cam.com/video/7kJehsjjTR8/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/xJXuC7mGlBQ/w-d-xo.html In general, soft or dead soft wire is easiest to work with, and what I recommend for beginners. When I was starting out, I used all dead soft except for the wire I used to make ear wires with. Half hard is more difficult to shape, but also sturdier so it's great when you want something to really hold its shape well.
Thank you for sharing.
Hi, this is a very toggle bar created couldn't you after you've formed the first loop use the second loop wire to wrap it around to secure it all in place.
Ok thankyou fir your prompt reply. Happy Newyear
it's wonderful
work :)
Mil gracias me fue de mucha utilidad Bisutería viejaidee de Venezuela
Hi I am likening this tutorial so much wondering if you count help me with a problem I am having trouble with I do chain mail and wire art such as what's described in your tutorial however a bit different
I like to recycled electrical wire something like 12 or 6 gages which I collect and strip it by self as my project mediums doing the whole jump ring finishing thing gets a bit touchy cutting them flush and neat no sharp edges anyhoo that parts of the same questions and want your technic to work for me now I can tell you what I have tried so far I have appealed my wire beforehand the trouble comes trying to get it to going in to shape of course there must be rhyme and reason can't grasp how long to start with as opposed to the wire size when using thicker wire would you have something of an idea that would help along with my conundrum
Thank you in advance
Hi David, thanks for watching and commenting!
I'm not sure if I'm following your question completely, because it looks like maybe you used voice-to-text and it didn't insert any punctuation. However, if you're attempting to make jump rings with wire as thick as 6 gauge, you will likely need a much more heavy-duty setup than what I use for the small jobs in some of my videos. You will probably want a vise grip bolted to a table to hold a sturdy metal rod that you can coil your wires around. Then either a jeweler's saw or very heavy duty wire clippers to separate the coil into jump-rings. There should be many other videos on TH-cam showing this technique, including some specialized products/setups just for making jump rings (like the Pepe Tools jump ring maker, for example) which you might find interesting.
amazing! thank you!
I like your works but please how the wire is soft with you i try alot but not good give me advice
Thanks! It's important to get "dead soft" wire, which you can find at places like RioGrande.com. A lot of craft store wire is more difficult to work with because it's not truly dead soft and will be harder to shape. I'd recommend starting out with dead soft copper wire, because copper is cheaper and softer/easier to work with then other options like brass, bronze, silver, stainless, steel, etc. Here's an assortment of copper wire on Amazon for a good price, in case you don't know where to start! amzn.to/2YwTHdt
Que padre... Las haré igual que tu 🎀 sale muy caro comprar. Gracias por el video
I love the bar you created but couldn't you once you've finished the first loop and formed the second loop wrap the remaining wire around both to secure it.
thank you I neef one to make a belt
So this is why 99% of all beading videos do not teach how to attach a clasp. So that they can make separate videos.
Jump rings homie. At a minimum, a 2 jump rings will help ur need
Do you have a tutorial on the types of wires ?
What's "dead soft"... etc ?
Hi Sandra! I do, actually. Maybe you'd find these helpful: th-cam.com/video/7kJehsjjTR8/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/xJXuC7mGlBQ/w-d-xo.html
Very nice, Thank you
eso tutorial son excelentes, muy bonito, si los pudiera impartir en español, Rafael Segura de República Dominicana
muy bonito
Can I use half hard wire?
Absolutely!
Great!!!
Yes... thank you for sharing!!!💕
HOW MUCH WIRE DID YOU USE FOR THE T CLASP , I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE THE SAME SIZE THAT YOU ARE MAKING
nice
Thank you
Genial bendiciones
Now that you made the toggle clasp, how do you attach it to your Bracket?
You can simply use a jump ring, wrapped loop from a wire end of whatever you're attaching, etc.
👍💯
One tip: definitely make the two ends of the toggle bar the same length, like exactly the same. Otherwise one end will be loose or tight.
Yes, that's very important! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I wondering why you didn’t just wrap the loop ends instead of cutting? Don’t twist wires. Make a “T” then make 2 loops at opposite end of T. Make parallel lops, THEN twist BOTH wires back to the “T” cut, file one side of blunt end to make a right triangle (so to speak), tuck around send nicely. Please do try this sometime. And YES!, I have 4 grandchildren that DO tug!😂😁. Have a great day!
Podría poner subtitulado al español, gracias
Number of the wire, please?
Just awesome! Thank you for sharing you art! I have a jewellery channel. Take a look and leave your comment.
para que pones subtitulos y estas hablando porqueria ni sé ve tu trabajo!!!!
Sabias que puedes quitar los subtítulos, que porquería de usuarios de TH-cam existen hoy en dia...
Pinches anumcios quitenlos!!!
I love the bar you created but couldn't you once you've finished the first loop and formed the second loop wrap the remaining wire around both to secure it.
Thanks, Cheryl! I don't see why you couldn't, that's just not how I chose to do it.
