- Wanted to introduce you all to my personal i4 eDrive35. I've put my money where my mouth is and got the introductory i4, in my opinion the best bang for your buck variant of the car. Over the next few weeks i'll do efficiency tests like our other electric cars, day to day usefulness reviews, and of course performance reviews (I GOT NEW EQUIPTMENT YO!!!!)

I got the e40 in same exterior color with red interior, I love it.
This color is so beautiful ❤
Great Spec the colour is amazing
I got an e35 for the samr reasons. I drive locally about 40-50 miles a day. It's perfect, super comfortable, and plenty quick.
How often do you charge it for 50 miles per day driving? Do you charge it every two days, 3 days,...?

Does that mean that newly produced I4s will come with service package 21 / 4K camera or is that only for the IX etc. ?
My I4 edrive 40 was produced last week and is coming with the new smaller gear shifter for example
Sadly no, i4, 4, 3 and 2 series won't get Service Pack 21 till their next cycle, or they might jump straight to SP25, We''ll have to wait and see.

It is going to be interesting to see the new gear shifter when I get the car in a few week. Not sure if more have changed since I tried and order it a year ago 🙈
I got every option except the HK sound on my ED35 because I wanted more storage.
kinda regretting it because I haven't heard it but the standard speakers sound great.
you didn't get ventilated seats?
No ventilated seats for me, in my tone with them I just never found them as useful as they should be in my mind. HK system is great! Very well tuned for this car, the lack of under floor storage does hurt a little :p
So if my order is going into production in May, and I didn’t get esim (because I have Verizon and I ordered in February), am I out of luck with the esim?
By the way, those 18 gunmetal gray wheels look awesome.

I placed an order for the i4 35 over a month ago, i finally got the production number. However the 18" Wheels i ordered were switched to the 19". I was told the 18" are not in stock. I find it weird since the 18" is showing on BMW site. would you be able to confirm its indeed out of stock? Thank you!
It is temporarily unavailable…. Supply was lower than expected demand. But yes your bmw view still shows original order. My bmw on the site has the blue accents and silver trim where my car is black trim and silver accent
Why do you not do m sport and sun protection glass in the states?

What is your real life range based on normal driving? My fiancé is trying to decide between the edrive40 and the edrive35. Thank you
So I typically drive to about 10% and I’m getting about 228 miles with mostly highway drives averaging between 75 and 80 mph… So if I took that down to an average drive I was able to see around 265 miles per charge
But keep in mind that’s my personal driving… Not everyone gets as good as I do… So for the average driver, I would expect a decrease in range of about 5 to 10% just because I am a hyper miler myself
The real question becomes do you need the extra mileage? Or do you want the extra power… If the answer for either is no then go 35 over 40… or if you want awd but not power get the 40 xDrive starting production next month
So what is the main difference between the eDrive35 and the eDrive40? Other than the range difference?

What about the outer body? Do they both look identical? I see alot of 40 with msport body but I see 35 also online with the msport body. Thanks
would you say it has enough room for a rear facing car seat and a front facing? and then enough space for someone to sit in the middle?
depends on the seat... it is doable... but the middle person is REALLY going to dislike their life. The way i'm setting up for my kids is two Diono 3R behind me (longest leg room for my oldest) and in the middle (least legroom for my second youngest... Baby seat in the far right behind the Mrs.
Why they still have pegs on the doors ? Are they following old model for lock and unlock door ? Thanks in advance

OF COURSE I GOT PARKING ASSIST!!! 360 cam is necessary for my curb loving wife :p
