Lynanne, knitting is much slower than crochet and Nancy loves working with bulky yarn and trebles which will always make completion faster. You are doing great, and your SYRP is gorgeous.
I had bought some of that Corin yarn a few years ago on eBay and really wanted more. Thanks to you guys I have enough now for a beautiful spring shawl and top. I used a code that Nancy shared and I will definitely shop at Guchetts again! Great selection, great prices and shipping. ❤
Lynanne your #SRYP is gorgeous! I tried knitting a blanket and frogged it. I'll try it again someday. Your cardigan is going to be beautiful with that color of yarn. Enjoy the rest of your day sweetie! 🙏💜🫂🧶
A suggestion for your sore finger. I experienced this same thing, but finally learned that instead of pushing end of the needle against your finger, pinch the end of the needle with your thumb and finger while you push the stitches forward on the needle. No more sore finger.
OMG. 😂. I feel so much better! I literally did the same thing doing the rows backwards. It feels like so much longer than 2 weeks 🤣. My finger is so sore too and that really is all that stops me from doing it longer - well that and all the other projects😂 thank you so Much for taking us along in this knitting journey! I am loving it💜💜💜
That scarf is coming out pretty. That would be fun to try. I knew I had that cardi pattern, and some yarn for it. I knit, crochet, and have done Tunisian in the past. I need to cast on that sweater. I only have 9k wips going! 😅
I am doing the knit cardigan and I feel it’s so slow because of that row where you have to knit/purl across. If I could just knit the whole thing I could go so much faster. I am using 13 size needles and using puzzle yarn in the color hopscotch . Your shawl is gorgeous.
What happened to your Silverlake shirt? Did it get put in a time out or did you finish it? I have finished the 2 back pieces and have four inches done on the first front piece.
Love watching you and your WIPS. love colour of our cardigan. send love xxx💗💗💗💗
Thank you
Your SRYP project is turning out beautiful. The knit cardigan is a nice stitch pattern. I like the texture.

I unfortunately have no patience to knit. Too slow I'd never finish it. But i love the look of knit. I give you a lot of credit for doing it.
Knitting is definitely a process. It’s all about the journey.
Hi Lynanne
Hey friend
I love to knit but knitting doesn’t always like me🤪 happy Halloween 🎃
✌🏼🩷🧶
Lynanne just look at the needle that has the working yarn. As a righty you front will always have your cast on yarn excess yarn on your left needle.
Thanks for the tip

It definitely is a slow row. But the texture is worth it!
I think you should add ur “mistake” on the front panels cuz it looks very pretty and it would be your design/added touch to the pattern
That is a great idea. I will think about it!
What happened to your Silverlake shirt? Did it get put in a time out or did you finish it? I have finished the 2 back pieces and have four inches done on the first front piece.
I’m still working on it. I’ve started the front panel. I’ll show it on my Tunisian Tuesday next week
I'm afraid I would have to put my knit down and for get what row I was on but I can knit a little, nothing to big though.
Anybody figure out about the finishing bands on the front pieces?
Not there yet. I’m slow
@ not there yet either but did read ahead on pattern and compared with picture. Hopefully all will become clear.
