School's Family-Community Resource Coordinator connects with families during pandemic

As the Family-Community Resource Center Coordinator at Harney Elementary in Vancouver Public Schools, Hilda Lail works with hundreds of students and their families, connecting them to resources and coordinating engagement activities. For families already struggling, the Covid-19 outbreak has made access to resources like food, even more essential. With funding from the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools and support from other community partners, Hilda can continue to help families while schools are closed.
