This is the assembly of the worlds biggest plane: the Antonov 225 Mrija from Revell. I built one month on it.

Tge factory was hit, but we don't know the second airframes status. We know that UR-82060 WILL be rebuilt and possibly the second will be finished.

Way back in 1990, I saw this plane in real life at the Paine Field annual international air show. It is HUGE. Also included were for the first and only time were Russian MIG 25s. This was one year after the fall of the Soviet Union.
I recently heard that this beautiful plane has been destroyed by Russian forces during the Ukraine invasion.Paine Field is in Everett, Washington. I was 30 years old back then.

One big detail on this video: it points out the importance of assembly line usage. I now know not to separate any parts from the plastic treestill the time to work on a kit when painting is needed. I now appreciate more than ever the well done mahogany (1/144?) AN-225 with the Russian Space Shuttle affixed to the top of the AN-225 that I purchased years back. I was surprised the nose of the Revell kit does not swing up after the effort you put into painting the interior. Great work on your effort. Thank you for this video on Revell's AN-225 kit.
