I saw the Il-62 in Stoelln in 2018. It was amazing to see the small gras "runway" where they landed this huge plane. If you are in Hamburg or Berlin and you have some freetime, I can only recomend to go there, it's amazing! Very goob build by the way!✈

I kind of like the idea of not installing the passenger windows and letting the decal film be the glass instead. Probably makes for much easier painting! I may try that, cool idea.
Als Tipp/Rat vielleicht noch: 1. Zum Geburtstag eine Airbrush-Kabine von Wiltec wünschen. Diese hat ein Drehteller dabei und saugt den Farbnebel und Staub ab. Ist auf Koffergröße faltbar! (Kosten ca. 100€ in der Bucht). Auch dabei der Abzugschlauch, den man aus dem Fenster hängen kann. LED-Leisten wären optional bestellbar. 2. Die Firma Heller hat auch einige Airliners. Zum Beispiel die Concorde, oder eine Constellation in 1:72. Die Flieger sind riesig und relativ günstig.

Richtig geil gemacht. Das Video und das Model. Ich baue der Zeit an einer F14 und an einer DHC 6 Twin otter. Und ich bin sehr unzufrieden mit der DHC weil ich noch kein airbrush hab und das ganze mit dem Pinsel machen muss und mit Emailfarben wird das hässlich AF. Mit Aquacolor würde es 10x besser gehen. Hast du vllt eine Idee wie man den Lack wider abbekommt ohne die Konturen zu ruinieren? Ich habs an einer Stelle mit dem Pinselreiniger probiert. Geht auch veg aber der Pinselreiniger hinterlässt einen komosch klebenden Film. Das ist der Horror!
Puh, das ist schwer... also ich habe mit Natronlauge (oder so) mal ein Modell entlackt... aber es waren halt Aqua Farben... man müsste mal im Internet und in Foren lesen...
Hast du gut gebaut! Gefällt mir! Bist du zufrieden mit dem "Extra Thin Cement"-Kleber? Etwas schade finde ich nur, dass du für die Cockpitscheiben das Decal genommen hast. Ist doch ein schönes Cockpit drin und das Klarteil passte auch perfekt. Kein Bock auf abkleben gehabt? 🤭 Vielleicht beim nächsten mal. Weiter so!!! 👍🏻
ahhh nice echt cooles flugzeug. mal wieder mega gut geworden, wen du mal was kleines bauen möchtest kann ich dier die revell enbraher nur empfelen wie wers mit KLM ?oder eine lockheed starlifter von Roden ( die decals sind müll aber modell ist gut ) also mach weiter so echt toll
Imagine these models at 1/48 scale! I normally build military 1/72 or 1/48 planes and helicopters but now I want to try civilian aircraft because of you!

Nice work but you should learn some weathering method and BUY an 0.3mm airbrush.(best way) Apply the coat as thin as possible and the paint will dry quickly. I‘m just few years older than you, don't give up!
