Satin Doll is really good! I enjoy these video tutorials. You go into great detail with this but it's super simple to follow along at the same time. Thanks for sharing this!

Outstanding. Well done. I play only chord melody but all this blends nicely and you do a great job of explaining music theory in a clean, clear, concise manner. Thanks Andy.

Super helpful. You are great at explaining theory behind these chord sequences. Makes sense! Thank you. Am just getting into jazz as it ticks both my love of music and patterns in maths. Bit geeky but am sure am not the only one who likes all of these patterns...

Thanks for commenting. Glad it made sense :) I'm the same and like to get into the geeky details of these things. I'm no mathematician, but there's wonder in music at the way things work out sometimes.

Hi Andy, great lesson for really good tune (standard). I thought it would be a lot more complicated. Thanks.

Cheers Stuart. It's one of those that maybe sounds harder than it is. Lots of good movements in this one.

Makes more sense to think about Secondary Dominants rather than changing the tonic every 2 bars.

Hi Andy, I signed up to your level 2 course, but I'm unable to access anything other that the Discord forum. Can you advise how I log in to access your lessons. Thanks, Gerry.

Nice analysis. I would just add that you dont need to know 2 5 1 in every key. Just one key really. Thats the nice thing about guitar. Master the 2 5 1 in any key really and you've actually mastered it in all other keys,, once you know how to move the pattern to each key.

Yep, in the end they all just sound like 251s!
