When I arrived in Kanto in HGSS it really felt amazing since I had never played a Gen 1 game or the Remakes you until that point. Really felt like I was stepping into a new world
It's been 13 years. Oh how I will forever cherish these soundtrack ls for the hours i sat listening to them not even playing the game. Just enjoying the music.

I wonder if this is how they always intended this song to sound? This is a great remix and has the vibe of relaxing in a cafe or lounge, enjoying a nice cup of tea or coffee with a friend. But the original sounds much more... Somber and homely. Like you're returning somewhere you grew up, and it's aged a bit, but hasn't changed too much over the years. It's a much more thought-provoking tune, and makes me, personally, stop and think about my old home, how much time has passed since I first heard it, and all the places I've played Pokemon RBY in my life...
That rhythm part is so good. The progression man, it was perfectly catchy. This will forever be the song that plays in my head whenever my mind goes auto pilot.
