Miss you big guy.. any chance of an update? We used to keep in contact a few years or so ago.. miss hearing from you bro, especially back when you were in China. An OG from back in the day a.k.a. markymark911 looking for a response! Miss you man.
Second time around huh? Don't take this the wrong way but for your sake i really hope you got the prenup this time around. It would really suck to get your trailer all paid off and buy property only to lose it later on... Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Cheers.
A concern, but I am not hung up on things like that. I view those things as prisons of sorts. But with a wife and two cats we need more space. No prenup
Most retail jobs these days require open availability. Fast food jobs are the absolute worst when it comes to this. Even worse when it's a 24/7 location because sometimes they'll have you work 3rd shift meaning you won't even get to have a consistent sleep schedule. I didn't mind too much when I was younger but these days I just want stability and consistency. Manual labor jobs usually offer a consistent schedule and are much more likely to give you two days in a row off, but I'm getting to a point with my back problems where I'm not even going to be able to hold such a job. Not to mention i just don't have the energy to work a full time manual labor position anymore. So it's sort of a catch-22. God i want out of this rat race.
@@michael567jober I'm around your age and I wish I had the answer to that question. The fact of the matter is if you're in your mid 30s or older + male + have no degree, then it's going to be very difficult to get a job that isn't in retail or manual labor. Automation, outsourcing, hiring preferences, more jobs requiring a degree and lots of fields being oversaturated really hurts our demographic. Some have the right connections or just got really lucky but most of us are left in the dust. Our generation in general is pretty screwed. If you find a way out of this rat race you let me know.
@@joeysmith2212 that's the problem too lol i have degrees and certifications but never landed a job in anything i studied for. I got a college degree over 5 years ago. All these every level jobs expect the most education plus experience but it's impossible to get the experience when no1 will hire you. Some ppl have all the luck but I'm fed up. Unfortunately i didn't really take control of my life till the mid 20s and i regret it to this day but we all make mistakes. My record is clean, i don't drink nor do drugs, i work my ass off in any position or task given but i still can't win man. It sucks. I'm trying to land an office job or something at this point
@@michael567jober That's the other side of the coin. Not only does the fact that so many people have degrees hurt the chances of those who don't have one, it also makes having a degree that much less valuable. A 4 year degree is the new high school diploma, and a high school diploma is the new 9th grade dropout. Everyone went down a level. Some people had the right connections or just got really lucky, but the rest of the guys in our generation is struggling. Also most of those office jobs are reserved for women, if you want to be considered for one of those jobs you need to be twice as qualified as the female applicants.
Don't even know what those things are, and frankly anyone left in WuHan is kinda dead to me at this point. I still do not support permanent expatriation. Probably my best friend from Wuhan lives in Texas now, about an hour away. There is a big change coming in my life, and my schedule is garbage. I am going to try and get an update vid up soon. After summer my video quality should really increase
@@goemonronin I think your video quality is fine. I hope you don't change your style much. Most youtube videos these days are too scripted and contrived not to mention overly edited. It's actually really chill how you just get on camera and talk without a script and without doing a bunch of editing.
Any chance of a 2022 update?

Good luck sir, I salute you

I agree with all of that, although I am with a 24 hour place, my department isn't
I'm in the same boat at the age of 33. How do we escape

I bet you're glad you're in Texas and not Wuhan right now. Know anyone back in wuhan who's affected by the corona virus and the quarantine?
