Really helpful. I had the handle on top of my favorite backpack get ripped dropping it out of my work van. I wanted a new handle and made up one of these to serve as the new handle. Works great! I had to make mine a bit longer and instead of the button on the end, I just tied another loop and attached it with a couple small hog rings through some tabs that were already sewn to the top of the pack. That way if I ever want to take it off, I don't have to untie or cut the braid to remove it. I can just unbend the hog rings.
Tried this. Several false starts, for a novice. Finally made one to fit my small wrist. Had to check again how to end it and to make the end knog. Very interesting experience. Thank you for clear instructions.
Hello, I have a small wrist too, 7 and a half inches.. Don't want to cut too much paracord and be left with big unusable chute... How much did you calculate to fit your wrist..? Thanks 👍
Many thanks! Just made one; not as tidy as yours but I'm proud of it just the same! Excellent tutorial as usual; easy to follow instructions (must be if I can follow them!!!) and if I didn't make silly mistakes, a nice looking store of cord (bracelet) to add to my ever growing pile! Liked this one. A satisfying challenge.
Best tutorials on the web, very nice voice ,even my boy is making bracelets now thanks a lot from the Netherlands!
I learnd this one back in the army. In Germany it is mostly known for beeing popular with the airborn troopers. Thanks :)
