Awesome, this device opened infinite possibilities. I would like to see it in front of a power amp and with a real cab. Just for the curiosity. This is a really game change for the digital and emulation world!
I remember IK from their mobile app modelling days... Looking forward to seeing the kind of recommended bundles that will help people get off the ground and using this in a production scenario fast. Looking forward to your next videos on it and am trying to confirm if I can make this a fit for me...
Hello Wilson. I received my CE1 last week, and I'm pretty happy with it. I just wanted to reach out here to see if you had received my message regarding the external Midi I/O issues that we (myself and one other use have both reached out) have had with it. Please let me know that the message was received, and that you're looking into the issue.
I think software effects have developed to a high level in terms of sound quality. Different software will have slight differences in sound quality or playing feel. Additionally, different people may prefer the sound of different software. THU is indeed a comprehensive and powerful effects software.
@@Wilson-PaintAudio The products you are developing here is delivering on what the Quad Cortex promised but never did. I hope you get enough pickup for this to hit mass production. This is the kind of thing people have been asking for for YEARS. Another suggestion for consideration is to expand the Bluetooth LE MIDI capabilities across your line. This is a key feature that would steer someone like me towards other product lines but I've put off for a bit and am hoping can find their way into your offerings.
Hi! I have a technical question regarding the hardware of these units: are they closed systems like a multi fx unit? or we could have the chance to upgrade the hardware? Like a laptop when one upgrades the RAM or the SSD for more speed/capacity
The RAM is fixed and soldered onto the motherboard, while the SSD can be replaced, but it requires a very complex disassembly process. Therefore, it is not recommended to upgrade or replace it by yourself.
You should do a demo with Atomic Amps Tonocracy. It's also free - completely, not just a demo - and I believe its GUI would fit your screen better and might also work better with the Windows touch screen.
Is there a way of having one patch set to run a cleanish tone with ToneX and another patch running a Neural plugin (I.e. foot switching between them on a gig)? And would that increase latency much? I’m guessing that would be within a DAW like Cubase (or within Gig Performer), but haven’t tried midi with those before.
As long as the corresponding VST standalone version or in the DAW can set independent input channels, you can run two plugins simultaneously and select different input channels to achieve different effects. This way, you can use different effects for multiple guitars and instruments together. I will demonstrate this usage in future videos.
As I mentioned in my previous video, latency mainly depends on the combination of the sampling rate and the number of sampling points. CE1 can achieve the lowest latency of 4-6ms, and generally speaking, latency below 10ms is not a problem.
Bom dia para você, Wilson. Acabei de me inscrever no seu canal. Não me leve a mal, é apenas a minha opinião.

only of these shipped to india and i didnt own a quadcortex, i would have ordered one right now. also i wonder if u could hackintosh your way with these.
@@Wilson-PaintAudio on the paint audio website there is no delivery option for india. also few months ago i purchased midi captain used from ebay at a higher price because of the same reason.
midiMate still workns on a single midi channel? One way? finish midiCapatin first! led feedback still don't work right when page was turned.... Wilson, are you okay with that?
@@Wilson-PaintAudio Hello again Wilson. I have some questions regarding the operating system of the CE1, I'm asking here in case another user might be interested in the answer. I'm a Native Instruments Guitar Rig 6 user and I have a Dell i7 - 7600U notebook with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD dedicated entirely to the GR6. I've had a lot of problems with real-time audio playback due to CPU throttling and background processes specific to Win 10. I solved them by switching to Win LTSC and removing CPU throttling, but this brought me temperature problems on my computer. How do you solve these issues on the CE1? Thank you.

When I get one, I plan to use Reaper, my go-to plug-ins and call it a day.
The tonex 1.8 update drops tomorrow adding effects and some midi funcionality which is important to this pedal for obvious reasons
Great news
The new Tonex effects don't seem to transfer over to AT5 when you load Tonex models into it. I've tried to no avail.
This also would be cool for a synth rig.
as a tipp, you should play the sound in the daw, otherwise the audio is very bad

I've tried them all and feel like nothing comes close to THU.
It´s a shame they don´t offer a proper hardware/pedal format.

Same here man. I have been thinking for long that if Overloud made hardware they would CRUSH the market and leave no rival...
THU is great, but for me Line 6 Metallurgy is absolutelly mindblowing
Thanks!!!
What I'm wondering most about right now is Helix Native. This would basically turn this unit into a full Helix in one shot....
Sure. There will be video about Helix Native in next Monday or Tuesday.

Great concept!! I would love this, but I feel it would be better as macOS based.

Some kinda of VST loader would be needed a daw to tweak the wet dry mix etc wouldd be helpful

@ thanks for taking the time to answer these questions
What is the latency before plugins added ?

There should be no problem shipping to India. Additionally, I need to find a large block of time to try out the possibilities with the MAC system.

Yes. I almost forgot about this effects software that enlightened me the first time I know what is an effect software. Will try it and make the video.
