There is a rpm gauge you have to cycle through the modes on the left handle bar & it’ll show on the digital tachometer.. it shows you the gear your in & digital rpms.

Haha I said the same thing. I have a led fuel gauge that replaces my brake master cylinder cover by the throttle so I don't track my miles. I just leave it on the gear/rpm screen.

I picked up a used 2018 48 in October with 1000 miles on it. It had just had its first service, it now has over 2000 miles on it and is out away for the Winter and I can NOT WAIT for Spring! I haven't had as much fun on a bike as I do the 48 since I first swung a leg at the age of 5, and now 28 years later and I still live for bikes!
The 48 is far more nimble than most other HD and lined up against most big twins they will either stay right beside them or pull away from them lol
There is also a tach built into the 48's speedo if you toggle through the tripmeter it brings you to a gear/rpm screen. The 48 is much lighter than the softails so that makes up for the slight difference in power. I still love the 92 FXR with all my heart, and when my uncle bought it brand new I knew I would always love that bike until it was mine!

Jonny BigRig T800 Same!!! I’ve had many sport bikes R1 was my baby rn I have a 636 and had many others but my favorite all around bike was the 2015 48 I had I can’t stress how much fun I had on that bike I love riding my sport bikes for the power but I don’t have nearly as much fun as the 48 I wish I could afford another.

I came off sport bikes and find my xl1200x has plenty of grunt and speed. It's far more nimble than I expected too.

How can you say that it is not nimble when you constantly ride in a straight line?

  • @2stocke9x
    @2stocke9x 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Of course the softail that weighs 200 pounds more is more nimble. Its because it has a taller and skinnier front tire my dude. Before you call sportsters un-nimble try out the Iron 1200 (skinnier front tire) or even the Iron 883 (which I have owned and I can tell you its nimble and likes to dip into corners.

The big front tire soaks up the bumps, but it takes a bit more muscle to turn!! Once you build up arm strength, you won’t notice it !!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

DUKE!!!! bro, you really should find a Triumph Bobber or Speedmaster 1200 to test ride!! I think it would make a DOPE comparison video. Stay classy 🤙

I love the look of that bike, kind of Exile style with the Bulldozer giant front tire, but that peanut tank, sheesh, will need to worry about gas before the ride really starts. Never understood that. Good to see a video from you.

The bike is designed after the 1948 s125 which shared the same beefy front tire on a low slung bike, and it also had the 2.1 gallon tank. Google a image of one and I think you will be surprised at how much it looks like an old version of the 48. Theh nailed the design when you see what they were after! I get 100 miles a tank before I put fuel in, but with that being said I also have a throttle hand brake master cylinder replacement led fuel gauge (its a clean little screen that replaces the cap on the brake master cylinder) and a 1.5litre fuel bottle on my swingarm saddlebag. I am not going to say that the small tank isn't a pain sometimes, but I literally get compliments from bikers and randoms alike every single time I stop that bike. Everyone that sees it loves it, and that makes me happy. I would love it even if everyone hated it, but to see peoples reactions that don't like bikes, and they see the 48 as something cool and different compared to other bikes on the road!

I don’t really like the sportsters all that much I much prefer the soft tails and Harleys touring bikes. Enjoying your videos very much about to watch your Vespa video tommorro. Gonna try to watch each and everyone.

      A HD XL1200X IS a HD Sporster 48.
Where as an XL1200C is a HD Sportster Custom, and an XL1200V is a HD Sportster SeventyTwo.
They are the same engines on bikes with differences in terms of looks.

The 48 is the only HARDLEY I'd consider at a MAX price point. Far too many other bikes to consider for half the price. HARDLEY needs to make some serious changes. Their product is GREAT!!! The HARDLEY TAX is what will kill any sale.

You should learn the full operations of a bike before you review it. Make sense? In three keystrokes you could see your rpm but I guess you don’t know how to do that and unfortunately this may give people the impression it’s not available on this bike. See the problem?
