    our sun isn't massive enough to go super nova, at the end of it's red giant phase it would just shed the outer layers, not in an explosion but more of an evaporation, and in the middle where the sun currently is there would be a white dwarf, about 60% of the sun's current mass, and approximately the size of earth

    0:36 _"[Because Arcturus is 25 times larger than the Sun] the distance from our planet to the star is now 25 times less"_
    Wait, what? That's not how it works man.
    Radius of the Sun = 696,340 km
    Radius of Arcturus = 25 x 696,340 = 17,408,500 km
    Distance of Sun from Earth = 147,150,000 km
    Reducing the distance by 25 times = 147,150,000 / 25 = 5,886,000 km
    So for an object to be 25 times closer to Earth than the Sun it has to have a radius of = 147,150,000 - 5,886,000 = 141,264,000 km
    In other words, for a star to get 25 times closer to Earth than the Sun, it would need to be = 141,264,000 / 696,340 = *203 times* the size of the Sun, not 25 times like Arcturus.

    • @HalifaxHercules
      @HalifaxHercules 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For Arcturus star system to support life, a planet would have to be located 12.8 to 17.5 AU for that star, which is nearly an equivalent distance to between Saturn and Uranus.
      Not sure if the humanoid race would look like lizards as depicted in a Square Enix/Tri Ace video game, Star Ocean "The Last Hope" and the Cardianon.

    This is accurate except for the last part that bright side said the sun with go supernova, but the last part is not true, the sun will expand into a red giant and will just become a white dwarf star, not a single freaking supernova because the sun is too small for that

    How would Arcturus being 25x wider than the sun, make earth 25x closer to it?

  • @miyukozero9844
    @miyukozero9844 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Y'know... The sun would never go supernova because it's too small (relatively speaking) yellow dwarves (like our sun) just turn into white dwarves, no explosion, no supernova. Indeed it turns into a red giant that swallows Mercury Venus and Earth (maybe) but it DOES NOT GO SUPERNOVA

    • @HalifaxHercules
      @HalifaxHercules 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe it will turn to a real life version of the Eldar in "Star Ocean - The Last Hope".
      In "Star Ocean - The Last Hope", the Eldarians lived in a planet very close to their star grown into a super giant.

    Sun will not explode in supernova. It’s not that heavy for supernova. It will slowly run out of fuel as red giant and become a white dwarf and then black dwarf

    There's a black hole at the center of our Solar System? (6:16)

  • @VitasLoWang
    @VitasLoWang 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    ANY OBJECT can become a black hole if it's shrunk to a certain size?? Are you sure about this? Doesn't it depend on the gravity to hold together the black hole matter density? I believe that objects not heavy enough just DON'T have enough gravity to hold it and if they would somehow be squeezed into black hole they would immediately explode to a normal matter density, wouldn't they??
