Based on the Second Earth being on the same habitable zone, it would not take years to get there. I believe less than 8 months. Just leave Earth's orbit and gravitational pull and wait for 2nd Earth to meet the space craft.

First off,you are wrong tmwith your conclusion. There could be a planet directly on the other side of the sun circling the exact same speed as us. It would permanently be on the other side of the sun, but we could not see it unless we were able to get to Venus or Mars set up satellites, orbiting those planets. Then it would be possible to see.

Have you ever thought that only oxygen isn't the only source that living things need to live on? Suppose we have a twin and it's atmospheric conditions are reversed, suppose carbon dioxide is the source that living things only 2nd earth then we can't breathe since oxygen produced less. But on BRIGHT SIDE we can atleast communicate with them, with their advance technologies than ours and it is much more better. If it is on the same orbit but the opposite side then it can’t have the same speed due to physics, so eventually it will collide.
