Phil’s comic wit and energy make this making of worth watching.
Fun fact: Hades almost wasn't going to be the villain. Originally it was going to be Hera just like in the real mythology. However, the creators eventually decided to change it because the story would have been too similar to Snow White.
Was Hera still gonna be Hercules’ biological mom?

I remembered that this movie is on Disney plus and it's also in the program Once Upon a Studio. My favorite song in the movie is I won't say I'm in love.

That’s great casting.
Just so you all know, the directing duo of this movie, Ron Clements and John Musker, made this so that they could finally be able to produce their best film ever, Treasure Planet.
@MonkeeJuice/videos They were definitely the best animated film directors Disney has ever had. Not only did they save Disney Animation Studios from being shut down permanently with their first movie, The Great Mouse Detective, after the disaster that was The Black Cauldron, but they also helped kickstart the greatest era of Disney animated films known as the Disney Renaissance with The Little Mermaid. Both they and Treasure Planet deserve better.
@@1992disney Not to mention if Avatar didn't get released Disney would have not only constantly made 3D animated movies but also revived 2D animated movies!

There were plans to make a sequel years ago, but they dropped it. I don’t know why.

@@VHSBTS I thought it was part of the closing to the Gold Classics VHS before Ricky Martin's music video, "Go the Distance".
I use to like this garbage. Princess Mononoke, Cats Don't Dance, The End of Evangelion, Anastasia Don Bluth, and Slayers Great were better animation movies than it.
